Constant whining/ frequent colds

My son is 4.5 years old. He whines all the time , cries and gets angry easily, becomes aggressive. He also gets frequent colds with lots of yellow thick mucus.
These symptoms started two years ago when his little sister was born and he began attending daycare.
Overall he is an affectionate, emotional, and very sensitive child. He is very smart, but slow and lazy, loves to listen and craves for new information. Teachers say that he is the best kid at kindergarten, but at home his his behaviour gets out of control, especially in the past month.

I understand that this is how he requires attention from us, the parents, and we do our best, but this is probably not enough...

Right now he has a cold with runny nose, bad cough, and very poor appetite.

I decided to try homeopathics on him for the first time. I gave him pulsatilla 30C for two days once daily (second dose was yesterday). I didn't notice any change yet. Should I stop and wait for response or give him more doses? Or, maybe, try another remedy?
Please help us. Thank you.

Thank you dr. Badar for you response, but you don't use a classical method; 4 remedies at once... 30th potency...
I don't have much experience using homeopathics and I am afraid to harm.
Can anyone using a classical approach reply?
Thanks in advance!
