Aconite didn't work what next?

Dear Doctor,

my daughter developed a croup cough, it came on 2 nights ago.
I gave her aconite 30c but it seems to make things worse. last night after giving more aconite she had a difficulty to breath and I had to leave the window open for fresh air.
she is fine during the day, active, happy, she has a runny nose, clear mucus.

Recent illness history:
two weeks ago she was suffering with tonsillitis which cleared. It also started with a barking cough, I gave belladona 30c for fever and aconite 30c which I believe helped.

she is 20 months old, healthy, small, fair hair, blue eyes, happy.

Could you please advice me on a remedy I could give?

Many thanks.

Dear Dr,

Thank you for your advice. My daughter's cough is now loose and moist, she seems better when swallowing, last night only coughed between 2-3am. Cough is still worse when lying down but breathing much better!

I only had bryonia and gave it to her last night and today, now i got hold of pulsatilla too, will add it tonight.

Thanks again. I will report more tomorrow .

Dear Dr,

quick update. Bryonia and pulsatilla seemed to change the condition. There was a sore throat and a slight dificulty in swallowing but cough became more productive and loose, the cough still remains in the evening and towards the morning. Chest bit 'rattly' but overall I think it's all moving and my daughter is getting better.

Thanks!
