Antidotes usage & Purpose in Homeopathy?

Can anyone here please tell me the purpose & Usage of antidotes...?

Suppose one Person takes a Remedy A, along with another remedy B which happens to be Antidote of A, Will B Nullify the Benefits of A..?
Or Will the Combined Benefit of A & B Be Nullified..?

thanks in Advance...

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Taking 2 remedies together is against homeopathic principles in the first place. One of the reasons is precisely present in your query, i.e., we don't know how the vital force responds to 2 dynamic substances taken together.

There are just too many unpredictable things that can happen when 2 remedies are taken together. Hence, 'multiple remedies at a time' was abandoned by classical homeopathy.
