Can Ectropion be helped with homeopathy?

This is a problem when the lower eyelid sags.

I am a 25 year girl old yet I suffer from this on my left eye.

It makes me look as though I have a droopy eye and an asymetrical face :(

Makes me very sad.

It supposed to happen due to aging (Im only 25! had it for ages!) or Bell';s Palsy, Thank god I don't have that.

The only treatment option for it is Surgery. But mine is not so bad that it is affecting my eyes except making me look very ugly :(

I was hoping homepathy could help me...

The only thing I can find about it online is this brief line from this website...

'The Eye’s Have It

Ectropion – Lower eyelid turns outwards -Nitric Acid

Homeopathic Therapeutics in Opthalmology – J.L.Moffat'

I don't know if Nitric Acid is what I should have, what dosage and how long for?

Please any help, I am desperate, this is ruining my life I feel soooo ugly

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Stramonium 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Hi

Thank you soo much for your reply.

Just to make sure I have it right, I should only take 3 doses in the full 15 days...how you said, day 1 morning 1st dose etc.

So I just take those 3 doses, then wait 15 days and see if it has made any difference?

Sorry- just want to make sure I have it right!

Thank you very much

Did you notice any calm after taking the remedy. Whether it changed in any way your perception of your problem.

Please copy the Questionnaire from the following thread
http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/188925/
and post all the questions here duly answered. On that basis your remedy may be worked out.

The answers should be given in a way that we are able to understand you as a person.

Hi- I did not see any difference. I have answered the questionairre below :)

1. Describe your main suffering?

The bottom eye lid instead of going up at the outer corner like a normal eye (like the corner of a almond) it goes down. This makes me look like I have a droopy eye.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

I suffer from vitiligo on my face and it is very prominent on this particular eye. (May be the vitiligo damaged the cartillage, ligaments or muscles in the skin causing the skin to become weak and droopy?)

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Feel very depressed about my looks, very ugly and insecure. Feel obsessed by the fact that because of this I will never be considered pretty, hate getting my picture taken, and I have never had a boyfriend- I don't think I will ever get married :(

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Just depressed and I obsessively stare in the mirror. I lift the corner of eye up so it looks normal.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

I feel like it has always been like this as far as I can remember but I did get Vitiligo on this eye when I was 15. I don't really remember having a droopy eye before that and if I look at photos as a child my eye was normal. This is why I think it is connected to the vitiligo.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

It is always the same but I feel worst during the day when I am at work and surronded by mirrors.

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

Nothing its always the same.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

No.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

I like hot weather. It has no connection to my problem though.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

I am quiet and can be moody.

I find thunderstorms exciting.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?

No I prefer being alone.

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

Not really.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

No.

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

I love my friends and family a lot but I can be quiet moody with them.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

My worst fears are just about the health and safety of my friends and family. No particualr dreams.

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

I love sweet things- particularly chocolate. I eat most things but I don't really like dal, cheese or vegtables.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Normal- limbs.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

Regular- once or twice a day. Normal stool type.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

I can only sleep on my side and with something leaning on my back like a pillow or wall.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

Yes.

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

Very quiet, shy, insecure.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

I tried hydrocotyle for my vitiligo but not properly.

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

My father suffered from Cerebal Ataxia.

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance
