Please help. healing crisis, aggravation or proving?Hi,
I posted my son's case yesterday, no reply yet.
I would like to know if he is presenting a 'healing crisis' and I have to just wait or if this is an aggravation or a proving and he might need an antidote or simply a change in remedy.
First dose of nux Vomica 6C was on Thursday night at 8.30PM. He had been very restless the previous 4 nights (following a High fever treated first with Aconite 30C 3 doses in 9hrs interval, then Bell 30C 4 doses in a 30hrs interval). He also had a catarrh mostly on left nostril, he is usually bothered by gas, indigestion and has difficulty with constipation (often straining to pass a stool and only passing small ones, and most often they are hard).
That night at 1am he woke up screaming and in what appeared to be teething pain (bringing fist to mouth). Next morning he walk up ok, a bit whinny and very active. I gave another dose of Nux 6C. through the day he was a bit whinny. The catarrh went worse and with a cough and a slight fever and sweat on and off. At 5.30PM I gave another dose of Nux V6C because of the catarrh and the developing cough (wet), did not want to introduce a new remedy and read that Nux V can also be used for common cold. The catarrh got a bit better, cough remained the same; and he had 4 bowel movements that day.
Last night he woke up at 11pm screaming and was clearly tired. He still presented the phlegm yet the catarrh seemed better. Not sure why but chose to give him one pellet of Nux V 30C. At 4 am he woke up screaming again, very upset. We gave him his bottle and went back to sleep for another 90 minutes. He was passing lots of gas.
At 6.30 am he woke up, tired but as soon as he touched the ground he has been very very active. He had a very big and soft bowel movement.
So my observations are, he is not being able to sleep at night, and when he is asleep he is very restless. He is passing a lot of gas. The cough is still present. My main concern is the not sleeping well.
Advise would be much appreciated.
