help with pmdd/pms?

Helllo,

I have been struggling with severe PMS for a long time now and it’s getting worse as the months continue. I do suffer from anxiety and the PMS intensifies it, greatly! I have just about every symptom known to man or rather woman and I’m at a point now where it’s becoming too much. I get very emotional, moody, clumsy, irritable bowel, on edge, can’t articulate very well, horrible memory, anti social to the point where looking people in the eyes is to much, my face brakes out all over my chin, sharp achy breast,restless, obsessive thinking, cant sit still, can't focus, sharp pain in abdominal sides. – I feel a mess.

I’m not usually like this. I can manage stress very well and usually feel I have a good handle/positive outlook on life and myself. Then two weeks before my period my whole world comes crashing down and I can’t function.

I went to my regular doctor and her only plan was to put me on Xanax for the anxiety but I refuse to take Xanax because this has to be a hormonal imbalance and the Xanax would just be putting a blanket over the problem. I had to ask several times for her to let me get blood labs run and finally she agreed, she still believes its simply just anxiety.

Anyway, I really want to fix this. I get a feeling deep in my throat, behind my eyes, nerves on edge through my arms and breast – its very strange and happened every month – two weeks before my period and just get’s worse as it creeps closer to menstruation.
