Thrush on breast/ breastfeeding infant

Ive been having sharp pains in between and during feeding wich irradiate to the axila and behind the nipple as the milks comes out. Aso pain at the beginning of the feeding and afterwards a sort of itchy and painfull sensation on breast.
My baby is 5 weeks old and does not seem affected. Maybe a little more salivation than ususal but also has been having a cold. Eating a little bit less but more frequently
Also vaginal itchiness
Since my symptoms are getting worse i feel slightly deppressed, feel dirty and feel distant towards my son. This symptoms are rather upsetting...
Any help please!!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi- Google the La Leche League for help on this- they are
very experienced and will advise you.

If you have a yeast infection going on-A. Stop sugar bc yeast
live on that. B. Start a good probiotic once a day ( 8 strain) and use
it for 2 to 3 months daily to repopulate your gut flora. Everyone
has yeast in the gut and are controlled by the good flora. Anti
biotics, even many months ago destroy the flora and you have
to put it back. You can get the yeast medicine, in usa we
use monostat first, but.. if you do not do probiotics they
will start regenerating.C. The itching is caused by yeast
going after the sugar in vaginal cells, which turns the area
into a ph level of alcohol.
( You need to do all three of these things at the same time)
You can also get some calendula cream to use on the sensitive
tissues.

Homeopathic remedies can help here- but you should also
do all the above. Fill out http://abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/188925 bc you
need more than an acute remedy for this.

Will do thank you.

My midwife said i sounded like thrush but unfortunately for some absurd reason here in spain it isnt a recognized disease per se... A lot of OB/gyn does no believe in it so i could use homeopathy or antibiotics and thats pretty much all they could do for me...

Can i send anyone my answers?

Im also taking a good probiotic 3 t/day, i started some vinegar rinses and raw coconut oil, wich seem to bring some relief.
Im also taking vit C, prenatal formula, grapefruit seed extract, zinc, calcium, iron, and omega 3 supplements
I seem to crave a lot of sweet and gluten products (although im not eating them).. Im thristy And im trying to consume a lot of alkalinazing foods
My midwife advised me to take belladona and helonia

Hi-some questions-

Have you tried the Helonias diocia or the Belladonna yet?

If so, what happened?

Do you see the link I put in the earlier post? Those are questions
that you need to post the answers to so that someone can
suggest a remedy for you on here.post
them on this thread.

You are doing all the right things. I find it very, very strange
that no one in Spain has 'treatment' for thrush or candida.

If I were you, I would go onto Amazon .com and order Monistat
7 day yeast treatment ( they ship to Spain) This used to be
only available from the Doctor and now it is at all the drug stores
here and it is what everyone in USA gets first and usually fixes
things quickly and stays healed if you stop sugar and do
probiotics.

My health insurance sends this out to all females about this.

Yeast infection-Caused by a fungus called Candida. Certain
conditions, such as diabetes, PREGNANCY,or medications such
as antibiotics, steroids, can cause this fungi to grow and multiply.
The result is itching, irritation, and sometimes a discharge often described as looking like cottage cheese.Symptoms of vaginal
infections can overlap, so get examined , and a sample of discharge
from the vagina will be examined to determine the PH to see
if you have a yeast infection or Bacterial Vaginosis ( which is
treated differently with antibiotics.)

That is very good. Remember that when something
starts to work-wait and let it work. Don't take
more until you start going backwards, bc
you do not want to overdose which will bring
symptoms back again ( for a short time, but
that can get you confused)
