Strange Homeopathy Dosing
We recently saw a homeopath for my son's autism. She was a sweet and compassionate lady who has tried to learn a lot about Autism but I am concerned about her dosing guidelines. It didnt seem to me that it is how it should be done in homeopathy. She gave my son Zinc Metallicum and Sulphur. She also gave homeopathic oxytoxin. She asked me to give him the 3 pellets directly 3 times a day.
From what I know you ussually mix the pellets in water, shake it well and give the dosing of the water several times. And I know you ussually use one remedy at a time.
I am not sure if this is sound homeopathy. Please advice.
She made me buy tons of other non homeopathic supplements :( It was hard to refuse based on her sweetness.
My main concern was my son's humming and hand flapping which she said she will address next time, that is next month when I see her again.
Thanks,
Maya

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Maya, this is weird , experimental and odd.
I would use the homeopaths from the book
who are vetted as having cured autism
and NOT use anyone who has not had cured
cases or vastly improved cases.

She is actually one of the well knowns in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her name is Dennis Tarasuk. She speaks at a lot of autism conferences and I went to her based on her reputation but I was taken aback with how she was providing the remedy.
She has amazing compassion and sweetness about her but didnt seem like her homeopathy knowledge was sound.

That is bc she is NOT a homeopath.
She is a naturopath. Naturopath's can take some courses in homeopathy and then use
remedies, but it is not the same as being a registered homeopath and just practicing
homeopathy. I have seen some pretty strange prescriptions coming from naturopaths and
of course they usually are giving tons of supplements and other things.
If you want to use homeopathy. then get a real homeopath, like the people in that book.
One of the most famous homeopaths, is also a naturopath, she is in seattle, dr. Judyth Ullman.
But, she has her homeopathy degree also, and she is a classical homeopath which means
one remedy at a time. She does give good diet, etc other advice but she knows what she
is doing with homeopathy.
So your choice is between types of homeopaths, who do classical, modern, sequential etc
but the core here is they are dedicated to homeopathy, not going against homeopathic
principles and combining things like this person.

Thank you Simone. I wish I had done my homework before going to her. I spent a fortune on her in just one visit. :(

You have to decide what discipline you are going to use.
Then find people who are experienced -( for homeopaths at
least more than 5 years of practice), have the credentials and have had results-that you can verify.
That is why I like that impossible cure site, that woman
is serious about who she lists as having results. I looked
at it again, for another person, and noticed that she had
taken some people off her list.
