Using Nat Phos 6x for my children (for Dr. Joe)

My son is 2.5 and has had acid reflux since he was 1 month old. He has silent reflux and needs to take a prevacid solutab to relieve this condition. We tried him off of it, however he was spitting out food and refusing foods, that we put him back on it. Now he eats very well.

My daughter is 6 months old, 4 months corrected. She was born 10 weeks early and her PT in the NICU believed that she had severe reflux. She did not start receiving medicine for her reflux until she was home from the NICU, at 2 months corrected. She has had three different meds and now is on the prevacid tab as well.

Both kids take a half a tab each day. My daughters reflux is starting to get better, however I was wondering if the Nat Phos 6x would help.

How would I give it to her? She is in daycare and they will not give her anything extra without a medical consent, so I would like to put it in her bottles. Would that work? For my son, I can give it to him after meals in the morning, afternoon snack, and dinner.

Thank you in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is very likely that your baby suffers from Gastric Reflux aka GERD (Gastro Esophagal Reflux Disease)

The remedy that has proved to be very effective for Baby GERD is:

Nat Phos 6x dose half tablet dissolved in milk given immediately after a feed.

It is essential that you burp baby immediately after each feed.

You will avoid eating all food that can cause any distress to baby. You must know that they are passed on to baby through your breast milk.

You (the mother) will take Nat Phos 6x dose 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily and Arnica 30c in the Wet dose taken twice daily. The idea is that your milk will pass the effect to baby. You may like to know that this remedy will also help to reduce your weight by 1kg per week very safely.

Report progress in 24 hours and as often as you wish on this thread .

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy into the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.

I have a formula fed baby, so taking it myself will not help her. Can I dissolve the tablets into her bottle instead of giving it to her after her bottle?

Also, how long should she be on this NP6x? Should I wean her off of it or can I keep her on it?

Will it do any harm keeping her on her prevacid tabs too?

I also noticed that there is lactose in these tablets. My daughter has a negative reaction to dairy. Is this safe to give her?

I did not get the email alert for your post of May 13 which I discovered at the very bottom of this page on the ABC.

You stated:

If you have used the Nat Phos 6x I prescribed on May 10 your question would have already been answered.

However for the record, the answer is that Prevacid is a PPI drug and should not be generally used because of its serious side effects if taken for long periods. You can do yourself a favour by doing a search on Google for:

Nat Phos 6x is presented in tablet form with a Lactose base. This formula is not sufficient to affect the Lactose Intolerance of the patient as I prescribe 2-3 tablets of Nat Phos 6x to help with cases of Lactose Intolerance.

You may like to know that Nat Phos 6x can also be used for cases of Car sickness and

You may like to know that Nat Phos 6x can also be used for cases of Car sickness and seems to work for GERD by accelerating the passage of food from the stomach into the gut thereby preventing the formation of excessive Gastric Juice which is made of Enzymes and H Cl which can cause GERD.

Nat Phos is also a very effective agent to treat Gout which is caused by high levels of Uric Acid.
