The reason I say get the Dr. Reckeweg is it is made in Germany and an excellent product.
I live in USA and have tried the Hylands for years with no effect from them, and other
people have said the same thing-I am now using Dr. Reckeweg brand and the medicine
is doing what it is supposed to do.

Whole foods has only Hylands brand

I hope that you succeed in getting the Nat Phos 6x from any vendor that Simone has suggested from whom you can order it or better still collect it personally as it is your Baby that suffers till you give it to him.

I shall await your news of his response after the first dose of a tablet dissolved in milk or water.

You can try that- but if it does not work you need
to switch brands. Bc it may be the brand. I have
used Hylands on me and my kids, and others, and
everyone has said it does not really do anything ( tried cell

Natrum Phos is not the right remedy for your child. Every child who suffers from Reflux/acidity/gas does not need Natrum Phos 6X.

The remedy that will greatly benefit and cure in this case is: Lycopodium 6C

I have prescribed Nat Phos 6x for your baby a few days ago and it really does not matter what brand it is as long as it is a reputed brand and sold as a Biochemic Cell Salt in the 6x potency and you can buy it immediately.

I live in Colombo Sri Lanka and do not have any knowledge of the various brands of Homeopathic remedies in the US but as far as I am aware Hylands is a reputed brand widely used in the US where I believe it is manufactured.

You are advised to buy it immediately and give it to your baby who is suffering from reflux.

If you discover that Hylands does not work after giving it to baby for a period of 24 hours, you can then order it from other sources.

Natrum Phos 6X is not indicated in this case. I have done the case taking, so I know.

A small 4 months old baby is given Natrum Phos 6X after every feed. Does it make sense? If there are 6 feeds in a day, then Natrum Phos 6X will be given 6 times.

This is not Homeopathy. This is allopathy!

Another 4 months old aggravated by Natrum Phos where the problem increased substantially after initial amelioration. I have had to ask the mother to stop Natrum Phos, although in this particular case it was indicated but she simply dosed as Joe recommends - after every feed.

In your baby's Natrum Phos is not indicated and will only palliate and not cure.

The burping and the crying is due to the build up of the acid in baby's stomach which is sometimes followed by the baby throwing up his feed causing the parents some distress.

It is precisely this problem that I have succeeded in treating in the case of many babies for the last 20 years and it seems to me that many mothers have been addressing their problems on the ABC forum and on my Website as they may have discovered that I have achieved some success in the treatment of this common Baby GERD condition for which the standard drug prescribed by a paediatrician is a PPI drug whose action is by far worse than the action of Nat Phos 6x which I have prescribed for the first dose of half tablet to be increased to a full tablet to be given immediately after a feed dissolved in milk or water to the baby patient.

Nat Phos also ensures that baby poos regularly as it treats constipation.

I see that you have not given baby Nat Pho 6x and I cannot understand the reason why you spend so much time in rushing to your computer to express your thoughts so many times instead of following my instructions to get the Hylands Nat Phos which you indicated was available in your city and giving baby the first dose ASAP.

I do appreciate that your mind is confused by the other classical homeopath who is determined to use his classical expertise in 'case taking' when the patient is unable to respond as he is only a 4 month old baby.

As you are perhaps aware, I do NOT SUBSCRIBE to classical homeopathy as I practice 'Joepathy' which was a term coined by another classical homeopath who eventually conceded that my therapy was equally effective to his own classical homeopathy over which we had many arguments in the past till he left this forum.

These two homeopaths were diehard classical types who would only treat a patient after doing the laborious 'case taking' process which you have stated you have already done for this baby and included many questions which I consider are totally irrelevant when dealing with a 4 month old BABY whose mother is being confused by you so very unnecessarily.

I feel that it will only waste my time to rebut the statements you have made to CONFUSE the mother of Baby 4. You must remember that the cardinal law for a physician is to TREAT the patient and NOT to confuse him or her.

I am copying below the first 2 Aphorisms of the ORGANON which I presume you studied to remind you of Samuel Hahnemann's thoughts on how a patient should be treated by the Homeopath.

Your baby is the patient and you are the mother who is now asking me for how long you will have to give the Nat Phos 6x to baby. You have not indicated if you have already given the NP to baby and if so what his response is after the first dose.

You must understand that I cannot respond to your question till you give me feedback on his response.

Did he vomit again after taking the half tablet of NP immediately after a feed?

You will take 2 tablets after each of 3 meals daily and the NP will also pass over to baby in your milk.

It is likely that you will have to increase the dosage to 1 tablet to help his digestive system to stabilize and get back to normal.

As soon as he stabilizes you can then reduce the dose to half tablet and you can still later see if he can do without the NP.

It is possible that the Hylands Nat Phos is not effective. This was confirmed by Simone who stated:

In the meanwhile you can continue with the Nat Phos you have with you and hope that it will work.

If you do not want to try the nat phos anymore then Zady
had suggested you try Lycopodium 6c.

That remedy is at whole foods, by boiron in the blue tubes.
Usually after you have tried a remedy a few times, and it does
not work ( at least 3 times) then that means.....it is not the
right remedy, go to another remedy..

I would go get the lycopodium 6c from whole foods and when you
get it, you will be advised how to give it. It is a well known digestive
remedy and your baby has specific symptoms that are similar to it.

Joe's therapy has helped thousands of people but sometimes we need to try different remedies, especially in acutes. In this case, I would suggest we start with Lycopodium 6C and hope it works

2 pellets dissolved in 6 spoons water, stir vigorously

Give 1 teaspoon to the baby
wait 15 minutes
give 2nd teaspoon
wait 15 minutes
give 3rd teaspoon

throw away the remaining 3 teaspoons.
