Scared to take Ignatia Amara
Four wks ago I miscarried at 18wks. I hemorraged and had to have a blood transfusion. My blood work came back normal, but I cant sleep well and have been experiencing panic and axiety attacks the past week. The doc gave me valium and it made me worse. He suggested Zoloft until "I get over it" but I will not take it. I went to a health food store and they suggested Ignatia Amara but I am scared to take it because I am allergic to so many plants and flowers and I am so sensitive to any medications. Has anyone heard of anyone having side effects from taking this?skray88 on 2005-09-25

I am so sorry to read of your loss and wish you a good recovery - it is hard losing a precious child.
I want to reassure you that ignatia will help you if the remedy matches your symptoms. If it is not suitable for your symptoms it will do nothing, no healing and no other effects.
take this remedy if you are suffering a lot from grief over your miscarriage, if you feel that you are changing quickly from very sad to happy and feeling at a great loss and if you are sighing a lot, getting headaches and feel like 'pushing away' those who try to comfort you. TAke just one tablet/pillule of 30c and if this helps you take the remedy again when the helpful effect of the remedy wears off.
Another remedy to consider would be arnica - and I think this may be more suitable for you than ignatia. take in the same way described above . arnica will help you recover from the emotional and physical shock of your sad loss.
