Migraines

I've tried Belladonna for migraines--as well as a few other homeopathic meds. Are migraines needing more of a constitutional type remedy? I have had them on and off for years, and alot of times I think they are from allergies to foods such as cheddar and chocolate, but also possibly hormonal. I am female, age 42.

Angela, age 42, live in E Texas
1. Major complaints- migraines, anxiety, extreme fatigue. Began about 5 years ago.
2. Mentally, I feel great anxiety and stress because I feel bad too many days. I have things I need to do, but my anxiety and inability to make decisions, to plan is affected. I'm stressed out because of some family situations, and that is aggravating it.
3. When I'm at my worst, I feel hopeless and depressed---like nothing is going to get any better.
4. It began about 5-6 years ago when I started getting migraines regularly. I went to a Dr. and got on a special diet that excluded many foods, soy, chocolate, and other foods. Migraines did get better. Then, I got a cold in July and never seemed to get over the fatigue of it. Since all of that, I have had chronic fatigue, insomnia, anxiety
5. I'm worst in the evenings. Headache starts around 3-4 and is sometimes a migraine by evening, but not always.
6. Heat aggravates everything. I hate to be hot at night in bed. I hate the summertime. Noise makes it worse, so does bright lights and lots of people.
7.External stimuli-I am 42, so it could possibly be related to hormones. Sometimes I feel worse the week before my cycle.
8. I feel better in mild temperatures, not when the wind is blowing, though. I hate the humidity. It's very humid where I live.
9. I am quiet, industrious, definitely not lazy, withdrawn at times, stubborn at times, patient
10. I like thunderstorms as long as I'm in a safe place.
11. During tough times, I usually don't speak of what I'm feeling. I will only share with a couple of people what I'm really thinking. Most relationships are superficial, and people really don't want to know all your baggage.
12. I am sensative to noise and light when I'm feeling bad. Otherwise, I'm alright.
13. I don't have any behaviors like biting my nails--but I bite my cheek and lips when I'm anxious, or clench my fists without realizing I am doing it.
14.I have good children, they are a blessing in my life, but I'm thinking right now I would be happier without my husband! Ugh. Can't believe I said it.
15. I dream of being out on my own repeatedly.
16. I crave sweet tea and chocolate & sweets and hate seafood. I love vegetables.
17. Thirst right now is quite alot. I've been drinking more water, and craving it.
18. I'm less hungry and have been for awhile.
19. I think I may be reacting to sugar??
20. I sweat more on my trunk, not limbs or head
21. I have a terrible time going to sleep (my mind doesn't quit thinking) but once I'm asleep, I usually sleep okay
22. Years ago, I was on welbutrin, gabapentin, and some other antidepressants, as well as muscle relaxors for a short time. I am off of all of that and refuse to go that direction unless I continue to get worse. Even then, I will seek natural healing.
23. Heart disease runs in my family, diabetes
24. I am tall, dark skinned, of spanish descent, not overweight, but not thin, large bonned
25. Periods are mostly regular, sometimes spotting afterwards, and they last 3 days. I am irritable before it begins, usually worse every other month. Flow is normal to scanty. No other issues besides headaches before. I took a Natrum Mur 1m about 3 weeks ago hoping to get some relief, but I'm not sure it helped. I'm also taking cell salts everyday, the highlands 12 salts.

Hello,

What is the location of the headache? Evening is the only time of its occurrence? What makes it better?

And what kind of headache is it? sharp pain, hammering, dull, burning, gnawing, stinging, etc? Just describe the pain in your words.

Are you suspicious of your husband's activities? Do you feel he may be seeing somebody else?

Do you like chilled cold drinks/juices, etc?

Do you try to refresh yourself with a chilled juice as and when possible?

For how long you have these cravings of sweets and chocolates?

Do you have any respiratory issues, now?

Do you take deep breaths?

When you say 'extreme Fatigue', what do you mean by that? When do feel it?

Do you feel restless inside? Please describe

While on bed and trying to sleep, is your mind active, or you are also restless and turning on the bed from side to side?

When you drink water, you drink it one go or you take sips?

What is the location of the headache? Evening is the only time of its occurrence? What makes it better?
Location of headache is mainly on the right temple, and radiates to sinuses, feels like it's behind my right eyeball They usually begin in the late afternoon, and by evening it's full blown if I don't take something or put peppermint oil all over. Eventually, I break down and take excedrin for the pain. Peppermint makes it better, being in a cool room with low noise makes it better.
And what kind of headache is it? sharp pain, hammering, dull, burning, gnawing, stinging, etc? Just describe the pain in your words.
It is a dull, gnawing pain, like something is throbbing inside my head
Are you suspicious of your husband's activities? Do you feel he may be seeing somebody else?
No, not really.
Do you like chilled cold drinks/juices, etc?
I like everything cold. I drink sweet tea and water with lime & citrus oils. Not much else, occasionally a mocha frappe.
Do you try to refresh yourself with a chilled juice as and when possible? No
For how long you have these cravings of sweets and chocolates? All my life I have craved sweets. I can't remember a time when I didn't.
Do you have any respiratory issues, now? No
Do you take deep breaths? Not usually
When you say 'extreme Fatigue', what do you mean by that? When do feel it? Walking up a flight of stairs makes me feel like I've run a marathon. It's an unbearable ache in my arms when I lift my arm to use blowdryer or curling iron. Little things that usually don't tire anyone can be extremely difficult, like walking a long time. I knew something was wrong about 5 years ago when we went to a garden in Hot Springs, and I had to call a golf cart to come get me because the fatigue was so bad. That's when I knew I needed help, that this wasn't a normal occurance. Achey muscles is mainly in large muscle groups.
Do you feel restless inside? Please describe. I would call that anxiety, and yes, when my symptoms are flaring up as they are now, I am anxious. Making decisions on which store to go to for groceries, what to make for dinner, etc. are difficult. Simple things become complicated.
While on bed and trying to sleep, is your mind active, or you are also restless and turning on the bed from side to side? Yes to both questions.
When you drink water, you drink it one go or you take sips? I don't take sips. I drink large amounts.

I have the phos 30c and 30x, but not the natrum phos 6x. I will have to order that one. Should I take the phos 30c in the meantime?

APURIFOY last decade
Yes please take Phodphorus 30C in the meantime. Please also get Natrum Phos 6X as it is required.

Zady101 last decade
You asked me to report back--I have done what you suggested with the exception of taking the natrum phos 4x a day. I did it most days but sometimes forgot. I felt better for a few days but then went downhill again. Headaches are almost daily but haven't quite turned into migraines. I have cut back on sugar but still crave it. I haven't had coffee. My fatigue is pretty bad. My arms ache most days. Is there anything I should be doing?

APURIFOY last decade
I forgot to share a small secret with you that Natrum Phos 6X was the main medicine and phosphorus was just strengthening its action.

Please repeat both the remedies.

Pkesse update me after 1 week

Update: I have had 3 of the best days physically that I have had in at least a year. Thank you so much. Should I continue doing what I have been doing?

Since I have had some success with my own issues, I'm hoping you can help my daughter who is having some problems also. She is sitting here with me telling me what to report.

She is 24, has one child. She has a chronic blood sugar problem, irregular periods, and stomach issues, and frequent headaches. She has very little energy, doesn't
been bad for awhile, but started intensifing over the past few years.

She has anxiety, depression, frustration, and anger issues mentally.

When she is at her worst, she is moody, irritated easily

Mornings are difficult, and she feels better when she drinks a Coke. Eating makes everything worse.

She feels better during dry, mild weather.

She is moody, changeable, nervous, easily offended, suspicious, lazy

She likes thunderstorms and feels restful, and cozy

She generally likes being consoled during difficult times

Sensative to smells, noise

Continually picks at her fingers until they hurt

Has good relationships with husband, but everything is strained when feels bad

Craves Coke, tea, craves no food, hates to eat, when she does want food, craves sugar.
likes bannanas. All food 'out to eat' makes her sick

Thirst is excessive (also a nursing mother)

Hungry all the time

Can't stand anything fried

Sweats more on the trunk, shirt always wet and then forehead and neck

Usually normal bm's but sometimes anything she eats she gets severe cramps. When at home, she does better

Usually sleeps on right side, but tosses back and forth

She stresses more than everyone else over normal things

She was on birth control for many years for cycle issues, but cycle never improved. Was on antibiotics several times for bladder infections, which caused recurring yeast infections. She has been on synthroid for 2 years. She feel that helps. Heart disease runs in the family, so do thyroid issues.

She is tall, very thin, can't gain weight, very attractive, dark skinned, tans easily, dark hair, blue/grey eyes.

Female issues: flow is medium to heavy, dark red, no itching discharge after periods, lots of clots in the flow

Thank you so much. I know this is time consuming but I really appreciate it. If it hadn't helped me, I wouldn't have mentioned it to her.

Please ask her to put all her complaints in the questionnaire and post here.

Zady101 last decade
I have Pulsatilla 30c but I can order 6c if I must. When you say questionaire, do you mean to list the problem and then how it began?

For myself, do I continue taking the nat phos 6c 4x a day?

APURIFOY last decade
