This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try kali chloricum 6c thrice daily and also post complete symptoms.I mean detail reports and his suffering.

There are several remedies for the symptoms of acute nephritis.

Please write about all his symptoms in detail.

1. Pain: Before/ during/ after passing the urine?
Describe the nature of pain ( sharp/ shooting/ burning/ radiating/ shifting/ dull...)

2. What makes the pain better and worse? ( cold water/ hot water application/ pressure....)

3. Urine: colour? odor?

4. Other accompanying symptoms: Fever? nausea? thirst? chills?

All these symptoms together constitute "totality of symptoms" which guides towards the selection of remedy.

10 patients suffering from same disease might need 10 different remedies ( if their symptoms are different)

So, please post all the details.

Take care...
