Delayed language and speech

Hi
My son is 2.9 years old and is not yet talking a single word.he also cannot understand everything that what we talk to him.he does understand many basic commands.
He can very well communicate his needs by pulling my hand or my family members hand and taking us to where he wants or to his needs.or bringing things to us and ask to read or eat.
He does not point to any thing or any body not even his parents.
He is not yet potty trained fully.
When I ask him to pee and take his pant out then he comes and pees in the bathroom orelse he doesn't notify me.
He goes to potty only when i put the diaper.and does not intimate me when he is done.

Some of the things he does are......
He claps hands when appreciated
He is very fond of music all latest.
He gives shake hand when asked
He gives hi 5 when asked
He waves bye bye when asked.
He brings his shoes when somebody is going out and wants us to take him out.
He loves playing in the sand.
He plays football and kiks the ball and players with me.
He throws ball to me when I say give me a catch.
He can understand emotions like crying,laughing.
He likes playing iPad very much.
Likes to watch Mickey mouse cartoon.
Likes to look himself in the mirror and jump and play.
He likes to scribble with the pencil on the floor and paper.
He pretends to talk over the phone when the phone rings.
He loves to play with the toy cars a lot.
Please can u suggest any medications such that his receptive language and speech improves.
