Cervical spondylitis
I am a 37 years old female suffering from cervical spondylitis. First time the desease occured around 7 years back. The homeopathic doctor recommended Reckwegs R-11. I found my pain was relieved in 3 to 4 days and it did not occur again for around 6 and a half years. But 3 to 4 months back I suddenly started feeling a lot of pain in my left arm and shoulder, I was not even able to lift my hand. It being left arm doctor recommended complete check up for heart. All the tests were OK and gradually in aweek or so, I started feeling pain in my neck.I resorted to homeopathy and my doctor again recommended same medicine Reckwegs R-11.
Though I have taken that medicine for quite sometime, my condition is not improving.
Present complaint is:
Aching, bruised, stiff feeling in the neck. Tingling sensation and feeling of numbness which mives from neck to shoulder. The pain keeps on shifting from left to right or centre. A feeling of heaviness of head especially at the back of head. Eyes and head seem to be extremely tired. Eyes seem tired and no relief is found even after closing them . it seems tireness of eyes would never go.
Another issue is vertigo. My head starts spinning and it feels that I am not able to understand anything or respond to anything. I am suffering from this condition for last two weeks and it seems that conditions are worsening
I work for long hours on computers as part of my job
Please advise me

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Spondilitis can be very painful and debilitating condition - which can hamper day-to-day activities and work schedules. Exercise is a must but homeopathy has some excellent medicines to control and finally cure this
condition.

Hi janks,
This has a LOT to do with repetitive motions and sleeping wrong. I know people who have
gotten this bc the work screen computer got moved a bit where they had to slightly bend
the neck many times a day. Also you cannot read in bed, or be looking at the ipad in bed,
checking the phone etc bc this is also slight bending over and over.
Think back to 4 months ago when the pain began again, and what habits are going on that
you may not be aware of. The neck has to be paid attention to.
When you sleep, it is good to sleep on your back, with pillow under knees and good neck support
bc this allows the spine to reset itself during sleep.
What works really well on this is to get some authentic shiatsu massage/or acupressure if
you cannot find real shiatsu. They work the spine, you wear clothes. You may need one a week for 3 weeks and then can go longer
and longer apart, but you have to figure out what movements you are doing differently.
Also I hope the Dr. took an xray of the spine or mri to check any disc problem in the
Cervical vertebrae.
