Alopecia/hair loss in dog

Hi,
I have a 4 year old dachshund which started presenting with hair loss on his back in a 'saddle' shape about 5 months ago. I switched him to a raw diet and gave him royal jelly and other vit & min. Hair did grow back but only a peach fuzz type. About 2 months ago, the peach fuzz fell out again and now I'm noticing hair loss on the underside of his neck this time.

He is a very happy dog, loves people even strangers. Very active and loves to play.

He does seem to have dry skin and he has a couple of little bumps on his back where the hair is missing. The bumps go away only to have new ones appear in a different area. He does seem itchy from time to time, but not constant.

Not sure what remedy to try. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It has been 15 days since the 3 doses of Phosphorus 30. The only thing I noticed was he developed a pimple on his back the day after the 3 doses. Since then, nothing has really changed.

Is there something else I should try?

Hi,
It has been 16 days since I administered the three doses of Pulsatilla 30. He does appear to have very fine hairs growing in on most of his back, just not across the shoulder area. It's like peach fuzz and very thin.

Is there anything further I can do?

It's been 13 days and instead of seeing more hair, I'm seeing less hair. He appears to be losing it on his shoulders now. The peach fuzz that appeared to be coming in, has thinned as well. Feeling very frustrated. He is bald. You can see and feel his skin from his shoulders to his croup (hip area) and under his chin/throat and chest.

Any thoughts?

It has been 20 days since I dosed with Silicea 30. I am seeing some hair growth. It is very fine 'peach fuzz' hair. You can still see his skin, but there is definite hair growth. He also continues to have pimple like bumps on his back.

Is there anything else I should do?

It has been 16 days since that dose. He does seem to have more hair now. Again though, just fuzz and you can still see skin. And there is still an area on his right side that has less than the other side. I have not noticed anymore bumps.

Is there anything else I should do at this point? Another remedy or another dose of same remedy?

It's been 29 days now since a dose of Silicea 30. He doesn't have any more new hair growth and has a lot of white spots on his back now. You can still see his skin quite well. And it looks like he might have started losing some hair on the sides again.

What should I give him?
