Infant LPR (can Joe De Livera chime in on this one too?)My son was diagnosed with severe silent reflux. It's not so silent though, so it's called LPR, the kind that goes all the way up his throat and he chokes and gaggs all day. Rarely does he actually spit up, but when he does, it goes out his nose and mouth. Very scary.
He's on prevacid at 10mg and is 4 months at 15 lbs. It takes away the burn and he doesn't scream all day anymore, but he still chokes and gaggs all day not matter what position he is in and therefore can't sleep much. He was even hospitalized because of the aspiration. He was even in an angle chair when it happened!
He likes to sleep on me most, since he refluxes a little less, but he is incredibly gassy and has stomach pains all day long and lying on me makes it even worse. I think a lot of it has to do with the medication.
He's on Alimentum for if there are any allergies and has been on it for 2 months. There was no change. I started oatmeal in his bottle this week which did nothing except make him gassier. I've even tried chiropractor and oesteopathic manipulation because I had a difficult labor and was vacuumed twice. Nothing has worked.
Is there anything else I can try to help with his reflux and tummy troubles? And how do I do this? Help! I function on 1 hour a sleep a day and have done so for 4 months. I feel so terrible for him.

You work with one person at a time on here. And Joe has
a protocol for this and he prefers to work with people on
his site. http://www.joedelivera.com
You can go there and see the protocol and ask him any questions.
If it does not help, then come back on here and another person
will suggest for you. There are a lot of remedies for this.
