Tritrichonomus Foetus - a stubborn a microscopic parasite

This is a parasite that the 5 lb young cat I posted about some months ago with a prolapsed rectum and green leaky diarrhea, I figured out must have (besides the Pica).

The 30c Ars Alb along with the diet change and Slippery Elm; Cat's Claw; Lomatium Disectum
and later I added another herbal formula for people designed microscopic parasites that seemed to help but I have run out.I also ran out of his food and had to give him canned food. With those two changes brown cow pie diarrhea returned along with bloody mucous.

Evidently this parasite comes and goes. It was first diagnosed in cows and later in cats -- especially those living in high cat populations or on farms or 'unclean' areas. This cat previously had been one of 50 other cats and lived near a farm with cows.

I had a conversation with the herbalist from a company, Amber Technologies that manufactures a remedy called Vibactra Plus and she recommended giving their remedy with garlic for 10 days with 5 days off , doing that a total of 9 times (as per recommended in Chinese Medicine).

Have you ever heard of dosing in cycles like that? She said it was 'to get the eggs' from the parasite. But why wouldn't you just continue the treatment without gaps? I would think the time without medication would just give the parasite time to take hold again.

There are warnings all over the package suggesting it is really powerful but it seems as weak as can be. The Diarrhea is just as bad with or without it.

I researched the life cycle and I guess it lives in the colon and cecum and just divides by longitudinal binary fission. The herbalist may have been wrong (when she talked about eggs).

I was wondering if I should try another homeopathic or add another to help the Ars Alb along. I gave him some Ars Alb yesterday and it did calm him down. He slept a lot! The past few days he's been driving me crazy wanting to eat everything in site. I even left a silicone brush I'd used to brush olive oil on food, in the sink, and he was so crazed to eat anything in sight he
managed to get it and ate half of 9 of the rubbery bristles. Luckily they came out in his stool. However, the Ars Alb hasn't helped with the diarrhea. He's had two or three liquidy stools since I gave him the Ars Alb last night.

Kadwa, Simone, Anyone? Please Advise.

The allopathic treatment for this parasite sounds worse than chemotherapy - so that is out of the question.

In YOUR HEALTHY CAT: HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES FOR COMMON FELINE AILMENTS, Dr H.G.Wolff says Abrotanum 3 for 7 days for Roundworm; Cina 4 for seven days for tapeworms; Cardus Marianus 4 for 10 days and for Coccidiosia, Phosphoric Acid 6 for 7 days. Then one dose of Calcerea Carbonica 200 after taking the above. It doesn't say whether the remedy strength is 'x' or 'c' .

Another book by Don Hamilton DVM recommends Grapefruit Seed Extract for 10 to 14 days for Giardia which this parasite can sometimes be misdiagnosed as.

Have you had luck using Nat Sulph to get rid of parasites before? Also, if I try it, shouldn't I wait to see if there is improvement before repeating the doses?

Anuj, the cat had leaky diarrhea which was the first time since I took him in 4 months ago that its been like this where he doesn't even attempt to go to the litter.

Since I didn't hear back about Nat Sulph for parasites, I gave him some more Ars Alb and he's quieted down at least. I'm fasting him on chicken broth and giving him half a Slippery Elm capsule.

I think this diarrhea might have been partly brought on because I've had a painter here prepping and sanding walls and the cat has probably stepped in and licked paint dust and dry wall dust off his paws.

I'm worried about his ability to absorb nutrients too so I put some Bioplasma in his water. I understand that helps other medicines to be utilized when there is such a problem.

His skin really bothers him too. He has licked and scratched a lot of fur off and has created a couple sores which I put colloidal silver on.

Should I make changes? I'm hoping the Bioplasma will help the Ars Alb to work better. I wish there was something I could give him for his skin though. He's always scratching and over grooming.

I forgot to add, he also coughs and sneezes sometimes and has black discharge in the corner of his eyes near the bridge of his nose. A naturopath said he may have allergies to dust and I should give him Similisan eye drops which would clear out his sinuses. I got some and tried to give it to him but he squirmed too much and I wasn't able to get it in his eyes.

Hi Emily,

Just do the prescription Anuj said to do and give feedback after
4 days. Anuj has a lot of experience with animals but he does
not have time to 'discuss'.

Do you think he took the time to read all the history for this cat that I posted or did he just read what I posted recently, Simone?

Since Ars Alb was so helpful the first time, and when I gave it to him today he instantly calmed down, (and since the books say that more people make the mistake of switching to a different remedy too soon), I tend to want to stay with Ars Alb unless I'm given an explanation as to why I shouldn't.

The only thing I've found that matches with Nat sulph is yellow diarrhea. The rest of the profile doesn't match at all.

I guess I should have asked about a 'progression of remedies to use after Ars. Alb or that are compatible'.

I believe Kadwa said Sulphur was (would have to check to make sure) compatible.

I think Dr. Wolff's suggestion of Phosphoric Acid and then finishing with Calc Carb fits better than Nat Sulph. for this cat anyway.
My last cat was more a Nat Sulph cat.

Anyway, this afternoon he's still doing well. I've given him broth with the Slippery Elm and then later broth with the Lomatium Dissectum and Cat's Claw. I even gave him about four small bites of cooked hamburger meat from grass fed cows. He hasn't dribbled any diarrhea or left any in his litter and he hasn't scratched himself nearly as much as he was before. (I put some Sovereign Silver on the most sore looking spot on his skin.)

Another thing that makes me think I shouldn't ditch Ars Alb too quickly is that his skin problems are worse on the right side.

Maybe the Bioplasma that I added to his water is helping the absorption of everything.
