Baby refuses to breastfeed

I am a 30 year old mom of two. My 17 months old daughter suddenly refuses to breastfeed. she had been hooked to breast milk since her birth and would constantly demand nursing every 30 minutes or every other hour. She had some cold and was given Arsenicum Album 30C for a few days. Her health got better but she refuses to breast feed. Not sure if they are related. Also, she was biting hard for the last few days she was breastfeeding and I scolded her few times when she did that - it was very painful. Not sure if this refusal is a response to that. She now eats a lot of food since she is not breast feeding, but I want to get her back to the breasts for some more time. Is there any homeopathic remedy for this?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Is she teething? bc a lot of babies have the urge to bite
when teething.

I would say google La Leche League and you will find
a coach to talk to on that site for your area to discuss
this with.

Give her a dose of Cal-Phos 30c, just one single dose i.e. one pill and report back with changes observed. Not daily, just one dose.

One dose: Dissolve one pill in half glass cooled, boiled water and give one tea spoon from it.

If you have liquid remedy, put one drop in half glass cooled, boiled water and give one tea spoon from it.

That's it.

Ok, will do in a day or so. I dont have calc-phos with me. Calc phos is easily available where I live as pellets in 30C potency, so I will buy that. (I have calc-carbonica in 10M and 50M liquid dilutions, I thought I had calc-phos but I do not).

She is now eating very well, in fact I think she is eating too much food (may be because she is not breastfeeding). She asks for food and eats very well.

Just for my information, what is the symptom for which you suggested this remedy?

Teething & desire to chew/bite.

Btw, the Cal-C 10M & 50M are extremely high potencies and I sure hope you know what you are doing when you use them.

We rarely go above 200c.

R.P. Tamhankar, I just gave Calc Phos yesterday, a single simple dose.. I want to wait a couple more days before I give anything else.

Please repeat the dose of Cal-P 30c, the same way as given earlier. Just one dose.

You can safely repeat 3 doses in 3 days as the improvement is suggesting that she needs a repeat dose.

About the high potency remedies. I usually get advice on remedies from a trained practitioner. He always prescribes single simple high potency remedy. So I have many high potency (1M, 10M and CM) remedies in liquid dilutions.
