anxiety / mental obsession with current health problemHi,
I have posted a separate post on a condition I currently have (costochondritis) and have been suffering with for 6 months.
These last 6 months i have been constantly thinking about this problem I have as each breath i take i am reminded of the pain and discomfort over and over (as it blocks up my airway).
It seems like there is nothing I can do to take my mind off this problem, even if i am talking to somebody, driving, reading a book, watching a movie, exercising, at the exact same time my mind is worrying about my condition.
In the beginning i suffered from panick attacks but haven't had one in months due to changing my diet.
But as I become more familiar with this condition and i learn how to deal with it physically and even seeing some improvement, mentally it seems like i am still obsessed with it.. I believe that even if i get over this condition i wont be able to get out of the habit of thinking about it which may actually be making the condition worse.
I find at times my mind might wander off when i am deep into a conversation and then instantly i will think about it again and drift my attention back into my mind to think about it. This makes concentrating on anything almost impossible, i am worried i might crash into something when i'm driving as my full attention is not on the road.
It seems like my mind is trying to think of 2 things at the same time and i feel over exhausted.
I will continue with my other remedies on my other post but wanted to see if somebody could help with this?

Please list down ALL your symptoms at one place and if you already have a thread on this BB, please use that to do so.

Anuj is treating you, so please put this on that thread with him.
You are new to the forum and sometimes people think they
should make a new post for each problem and have different
people help them. This can harm you bc some remedies
will interfere with other remedies and one person has to be
