My child is 4 months and has reflux. She has been through many different formulas and is on Nutramigen. She was prescribed Zantac, which didn't work well enough then given Prevacid which worked then stopped working. We were advised to up the dose of prevacid which is when we found this site.
After reading about nat phos x6 in your site we discontinued all meds and have been giving her 1/2 tablet after each bottle for 6 days. She is a different baby!!! No pain!!!
My question is two-fold. Do we stop giving the nat phos because she is doing better and only give it as needed?
Also, if we do not thicken the formula you can still hear the reflux, minus the pain now. Is this a sign that there is a milk allergy still and we should look at other formulas?

I am not sure about the milk allergy or what is in
the formula you are giving-this article may be helpful to
you, and I think you have to consult the Doctor about

You have already used a half tablet of Nat Phos 6x after a feed and you reported that it worked. You do not need to give it unless baby shows signs of distress by bringing up the feed. You can safely give her a full tablet dissolved in water or milk to stabilise her present condition.
Do NOT however give her any of the DRUGS you indicated.
Nat Phos 6x is a remedy that I discovered and introduced about 10 years ago for GERD and it is by far more curative of both Baby and Adult GERD than the PPI drugs Zantac and Prevacid you were prescribed by your doctors who are aware that PPI drugs are not for daily use for adults and the effect on a baby is best left to be imagined.
Do a Google search under:

I find it very strange that both the classical and pseudo classical homeopaths who advise on this Forum do not prescribe Nat Phos 6x as it is by far the Ultimate remedy to CURE both Baby and Adult GERD.
It is absolutely safe in use and you can use it whenever baby shows signs of distress with her feed.
If you wish to have more advice you may post on this Forum but if I do not respond on mine:
