Bowel obstruction due to scar tissues

Hi,

My wife had a surgery last year for a small cyst and during the surgery doctor nicked her bowel, to fix that, they had to do another surgery (bowel resection).
We had an emergency situation yesterday and after the Catscan they found out that she has low grade bowel obstruction due to scar tissues from the bowel resection. We want to avoid another surgery, anything she can take to soften these scar tissues?

Please see answers below. Thank you.

How does the pain respond to pressure & warmth: Area is tender so pressure makes pain worse and pain radiates. I am unsure about warmth.

Is the pain continuous, cramps etc. Not continuous. Sharp pains once in a while and sometimes general abdominal pain, almost like gas pain.

Is she restless & irritable also: no

How is the stool: soft. has not had bowel movemement today

Is the abdomen swollen also:no

Where was the cyst for which surgery was done: The surgery was a laparoscopy to remove cysts around left ovary. Both fallopian tubes were also removed. Right ovary was removed due to a germ cell tumor 17 years ago.

I can't prescribe without more mental & emotional symptoms, are you using your judgment or asking her.

Please ask her and give me details on these.

Exmaple:

She wants to lay down silently with lights off
OR
she wants to be with family
OR
She wants to change position constantly
OR she wants to sip small quantities of water or has unquenchable thirst

Hello, thank you for doing this. I am the wife who is now responding to the following questions.

I prefer silence and lights off when I am alone in room, but also like it when family/friends visit. My head has been hurting, so silence and lights off helps. I have been trying to walk around as much as I can. I drink small sips of water. I do not need to change positions constantly. I am fine laying in the bed.

I am not feeling sad, just a little frustrated wondering if I will have to worry about having a bowel obstruction for the rest of my life. I want to overcome this and not let it rule my day to day activities. I am feeling optimistic that I will be able to overcome this somehow. My headache has been constant throughout the day. At times it feels like it is throbbing, but mostly constant, dull pain at top of head. I am drinking just to keep hydrated, not because I am thirsty. I hope this helps.

I am sorry. I missed that last question. I am walking around to hopefully pass gas and help obstruction.

So the only thing you are feeling is frustration, nothing else

Do you have gas and does passing gas help with the pain

How does the head ache get better or worse (e.g. bending makes it worse)

How is your thirst, above in Q-7 I was told that you are thirsty by your hushand, but later you said you are not thirsty. What is it

I am currently still in hospital.
Do you have gas and does passing gas help with the pain: I have gas, but passing gas does not help with the pain.

How does the head ache get better or worse (e.g. bending makes it worse):The headache gets worse when I stand up and get out of the hospital bed.

How is your thirst, above in Q-7 I was told that you are thirsty by your hushand, but later you said you are not thirsty. What is it: My thirst has changed. I was very thirsty at that time, but now I am not. After given IV fluids, I am better, and not feeling as thirsty. I just drink few sips of water here and there.

I understand that you are in the hospital, I am still unable to get a detailed reply as yet on how are you feeling:

example: I am feeling tired and want to do nothing. I want to weep and am constantly thinking on when will I get well. Tell me deep inside how you are feeling, not the brave face you are putting up in front of everyone.

Use your own words and let me know how are you feeling.

I am feeling scared that I may not get better.I am worried that I will have to be careful at every moment on what I can eat or drink and that it may cause complete blockage. I have fear that colon may rupture and I may die. I want to everything I can to makes sure that doesn't happen.

Your case needs two remedies. One for acute (present) condition.

Second for later (chronic scar).

For the acute, I believe your remedy is Arsenicum Album 200c.

Please take two doses 12 hrs apart. Just two doses. Not daily.

One dose is one pill. Dissolve the pill under the tongue.

If liquid remedy, put one drop of the remedy in half glass of water, stir and take one tea spoon from it. That’s one dose. Use the same mixture for subsequent doses, if required. Don’t refrigerate the mixture. Put it anywhere covered, away from direct sunlight.

First dose: At night before sleeping.

Second dose: 12 hrs after the first dose.

Report back with changes observed.

Once we see the response of this remedy, we will start upon the long term to dissolve the scar tissue.

I have taken the 2 doses of Arsenicum album as recommended. I am not sure what changes I should be seeing. I have less bloating/gas. I have not had a bowel movement today, however.

Hello, I am not sure what changes you are looking for. Emotionally, I feel the same. Physically, I am better. I do not feel as bloated and no pain in abdomen as before.

Can you please rate following as %age improvement e.g.

Bloating: 50% better
Abdominal pain: 50% better

What issues are remaining?

fitness last decade
Bloating: 90% better
Abdominal Pain: 90%
Headache: 100% better
I am not having regular bowel movements: It has been 3 days since last bowel movement.

This remedy (Arsenic) is not the cure, its a stop gap arrangement.

To dissolve the scar tissue, here is what is needed:

Please obtain Thiosinaminum 3x. If 3x not available then Q (mother tincture) and start taking thrice a day.

If pills, one pill at one time.

If liquid, 5 drops at one time.

Continue for a month.

If some ill effects observed during use, stop till ill effects subside and then start again.

To ensure that you have a soft stool till the scar tissue is dissolved, you can use the laxative Magnesium Citrate (also called Milk of Magnesia) and follow directions on the bottle.
