Itching hand, what remedy?

Hi there
I have had a terribly itching hand for the last month, off and on. I suffer from allergies anyway.. but this itching is a new one.
It itches and is red and peeling now, on the palm at the roots of the second and third fingers.
Does anyone know of a remedy i could take for this?

what ailment or treatment you have just prior this condition?
