No ovulation, No periods and trying to get pregnant

Hello, I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 months, but 6 of those months I haven't had any periods. Prior to that I was on the birth control Dianette for 2 1/2 yrs, to regulate periods, reduce facial hair and reduce acne. My GP thinks I have PCOS but the symptoms are mild. I have facial hair, quite bad acne, and I have only had one period since coming off the pill - that was 5 wks after. My GP won't refer me for until we have tried for a yr, but I am wondering if there is anything natural I can take that will induce ovulation before having to use stronger medicines.
Is there anything you can help me with?

Female, 23.
No periods, no ovulation for 7 months.
Also have facial hair, bad acne and overweight.
No mental sufferings
Never had regular periods, they have always been months and months apart.
Have been on Dianette (the Pill) for 2 1/2 yrs before coming off to try for a family.
Feel a normal temperature. I do sometimes uncover my feet whilst sleeping.
Feel much happier in sunny warm weather! But prefer cold weather to too HOT!
Agreeable, easy going person, loves to help others and I do a lot of charity work. I can get down and upset over the lack of 'control' if you like I've got over having a baby. I 'never do things by halves' and usually do things too well - or a bit over the top. I am fairly hardworking, and hate having nothing to do.
I love thunderstorms.
I like being consoled and comforted when I have tough times. I have put on weight and struggle with my personal image now.
I talk to myself a bit as there is no one else at home during the day. No other typical habits.
No major issues with family, been happily married for 1 yr and 3 months and loving it!
My biggest fears are sleeping in for an important date or meeting! and going with someone that drives too fast!
I don't really have food cravings.
Thirst is normal.
Hunger is probably a bit higher than normal - I always seem to eat far more than my other girl-friends.
Sweat is normal. Mostly from trunk.
Bowel movements fine, although quite often constipated.
I sleep fine, usually on my back.
I usually do satisfy my sexual desires.
I have only taken some herbal remedies as mentioned in a previous post. I am trying something called Fertili Tea at the moment.
No major diseases run in the family.
I have gingery brown hair, greeny eyes, pale complexion, bad acne. I used to wear glasses but have had laser treatment on my eyes 2 yrs ago. I am not slim, and a big build.
I have fairly painful periods when they finally come, and they are very heavy indeed. Blood is bright red. There are clots in the flow. I always have a vaginal discharge all the time, it is white and fairly thick, and smells like a dead fish.

I hope the above helps, I'm really hoping there's something that can help it.

Hello Molly,

These are all symptoms of PCOS and I believe you might have cysts in one or both the ovaries. First we need to work to restore your health and then you can think about children.

During the course of treatment, the acne will appear on the face for few days to weeks and then resolve.

Please get an ultrasound done to know the true picture of ovaries and uterus.

Please get Pulsatilla 6C, Sabina 30C and Sepia 6C and update me.

I have had an ultrasound scan recently, and they think there is 'raised awareness of PCOS'.

I will order products you have advised and will let you know when I have got them.

I have got these homeopathic remedies. Can you tell me how much to take? Also, how soon should I be able to tell if it is working?

Molly1990 9 years ago
Pulsatilla 6C
Dissolve 1 pill in 3 tablespoons water, stir a few times and drink. Do this twice everyday at 12 hours gap for 2 days.

For example, if you take the first dose at 8:00 AM then you have to take the second one after 12 hours at 8:00 PM.

Update me after 2 days.

Zady101 9 years ago
Do I take the other 2 remedy's as well?

Molly1990 9 years ago
No. Not now.

Zady101 9 years ago

I have taken pulsatilla for 2 days at 12 hours apart. What is the next step?

Thanks

Do you feel 'slightly better' in terms of energy levels, peace of mind and sleep, or no change?

Zady101 9 years ago
Yes I think I have, I have been sleeping well and seem to have good energy levels.

Molly1990 9 years ago
Ok, in that case please continue dosing everyday and stop puls and update me when periods come. Otherwise, please update me after 1 wk.

Zady101 9 years ago
My periods haven't come after a week of taking pulsatilla.

Sepia 30C

Dissolve 2 drops/5 pills in 3 tablespoons water in a disposable cup. Stir a few times using a spoon. Take 1st tablespoon, wait 15 mins, take 2nd tablespoon, wait 15 mins, take 3rd and last tablespoon.

1 tablespoon = 2+ teaspoons.

Update after 3 days.
