Dr. Tahira transient congenital hypothyroisdism

My son was diagnosed with congenital hypothyroidism. Heel-prick test on 5th day after birth showed TSH levels to be 600, then on the very next day it came down to 160. On the 9th day after birth TSH came down to 15, with freeT4 level totally normal (without any medication). then aspirated on the 12th day after birth and had to be hospitalised. was in the hospital overnight, discharged with DAMA. Was given antibiotic Taxim-O orally for 5 days. Since then his bowel movements became absolutely irregular and colic pains started.

On the 31st day after birth TSH was found to be greater than 100 and FreeT4 level could not be detected in blood sample. Started on 37.5 micrograms of Thyronorm.

USG showed him to have normal thyroid gland with normal shape and size of lobes at the normal position in the neck. Technetium uptake scan showed his gland to be enlarged, probably due to elevated TSH (it was found to be 984) as per doctor's opinion, and the gland showed increased uptake of the radiolabeled dye with non-homogeneous distribution.

Bowel movements was very irregular for the first 5-6 months of life, had to be given glycerine suppository twice and later, also Duphalac. Suffered from stomach ache. Ineffectual straining, and flatulance.

Later with administration of Neopetine for 10 days followed by Nat.Phos 6x regularly, bowel movements regularised to once in 2-3 days.
Colocynth mother was given for 10 days, 2 drops in a tsp of water twice daily and stomach pain had gone. The straining had also stoppped.
After 1 month blood test showed TSH levels to have come crashing down to 0.14 and FreeT4 levels went above the normal range. so Thyronorm dose reduced to 32 microgram per day (37.5 microgram per day every day except Sunday).

After 1 more month, TSH was still lower than normal and FT4 was still high. So dose reduced to 21 mcg per day (25 mcg every day of the week except Wednesday). The same dose is still being continued.

THe pediatric endocrinologist suspects his case to be transient hypothyroidism. So I was hoping there might be some homeopathic remedy for it, like Nat. Mur. or something. Could you please help him by prescribing some remedy that can strenghthen his thyroid gland?

he had aspiration at age 12 days and underwent hospitalization for a night, was given antibiotic Taxim-O orally for 5 days and at this time the irregular bowel movements started.

at this time he used to get severe pains almost every evening, cried a lot, and got relief only when Decolic drops were administered. had to give glycerine suppository twice, then 5 ml lactulose solution (duphalac) 2-3 times and later Neopeptine drops for 10 days. he was better on taking neopeptine.

since then i had been giving him natrum phos 6x, 1 tablet 3 times a day and he passed stool once in 2-3 days. on days he did not pass stool he suffered from flatulence.

Stool returned to normal once solids were started at the age of 5.5 months. Now passes stool regularly, even more than once a day at times, and has had two-three cases of loose motion.
