Recurring Chronic Yeast Infections!!! Any advice would be welcomed

When I get a yeast infection it's almost impossible to get it to go away. In 2013 I went on birth control and got my very first yeast infection. 4 months later and after suffering through about 10 back to back infections, I finally got rid of them with a combination of prescription medication, Candida Albicas, Apple Cider Vinegar and lots of prayer. I don't get a lot of discharge and there is no smell to the small amount that is in there but they are horribly painful and itchy and lots of swelling. After 4 months I have another.. well actually I have had 3 in the last 3 weeks. Candida Albicans has not helped this time and the over the counter barely has made it feel better and start to go away and then just come right back. I am a Vegan so my diet is very natural with very little that contributes toward Candida. The only bad thing in my diet is some wine. I'm not sure what to do at this point and am miserable. Anyone that can help please do. I did hear that a good way to help prevent getting one is to douche with Apple Cider Vinegar once a week. I have been doing that almost daily during the yeast infection and also added liquid garlic. Seems that it started just before one of my periods. I take 50 billion probiotics daily and i make and drink my own kombucha too. Don't know what else I can do at this point. Please help!!!!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Are you still on birth control pills? If not, when did you stop?

I went off the birth control after 8 yeast infections. About September 2013. Had two more right after then none for 4 months.

Hi,

Please fill out the basic form and I will have more questions.
Homeopathic medicines are chosen on the totality of your symptoms-
mental, physical, emotional, what makes things better or worse etc.

Taking Candida Albicans for yeast is not the above, It is what you
would call Isopathy.http://debbybruck.hubpages.com/hub/Homeopathy-and-Isopathy

So depending on how much of that you took, you may have been
giving yourself more yeast infections. I have talked to others who
took the same and had the same problem as you.

What was the potency of the Candida, and how often have you taken it?
When was the last time you had it?

The form is http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/188925

I will fill out the form and get back to you. I took the Candida this morning and I believe it made it worse. It was 200c potency .. 3 doses. I have been chewing pepermint gum to counteract it. I have taken it only a couple of times in the last several weeks. The first time it didn't help so I stopped taking it.

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.

1. Describe your main suffering? Vaginal yeast infections recurring frequently.

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? Moderate Pain, intense itching, minor discharge, no smell. Affecting sleep

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? Stress, anxiety, depression

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? I feel depressed and stressed because it’s painful and affecting my life. Affects my sleep and mood

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
Started around July in 2013 shortly after I went on birth control. Continued for about 4 months. I had about 8 infections. I stopped birth control, had two more infections and then had none for about 4 months. I got my first one after that about 3 weeks ago. It almost went away but then started up again. Almost went away and started up again a few days ago.

6. Which time of the day you are worst? Afternoon, evening

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same? Tight clothing or underwear aggravate, loose underwear alleviate.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)? The yeast infection came back shortly before my last period. I just started another period a few days ago when it should have been due next week. It has been regular since I went off birth control except for the last two. The last two have been longer and irregular.

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather? Dry weather, no wind, not too hot and not too cold. I don’t do well when it’s very cold.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable
Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
I tend to get depressed from time to time. I have been going through a marriage separation for the last year. I’m a fitness professional on the side and a Vegan. I prefer not to argue.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm? I like the thought of a storm as long as it’s not too bad. It’s almost calming to be indoors and listen to it.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? I tend to keep things inside and deal with things on my own. I put on a good front when I’m unhappy or stressed. I don’t often talk about things troubling me.

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc? I pick my nails when stressed and sometimes I like to drink

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I love my son, I care deeply for my husband but I am not in love with him anymore and that’s why I left. I do feel guilt about leaving and he constantly reminds me how I left the family and hurt him. I love my parents but have had a hard relationship with my mum

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? I have irregular dreams. Sometimes they are vivid and other times not. I dreamed of an earthquake last week and it was a bad dream. I fear for my future and being able to survive as a single mum. I have minor fears of my health. I fear something happening to my son.

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? Bowel movement is regular. Green fairly solid stool. Green because I eat mostly green foods.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I start sleeping on my side, fetal position, then often move to my back. I don’t sleep well and wake up at least 2 times. I get about 8 hours put together though

dear tsutton,

I am the one who was talking to you first.

I had more questions I was going to ask you about the case.

Only one person can work with a patient at a time or things get confused.

E has good questions, but normally people do not jump into things this way
as they know you can't have two people taking a case at the same time.

It seems to me E wants to take your case so if that is ok with you - please go
ahead with him.

simone717 last decade
Firstly thank you simone717 for stepping back. I did not realise only one person could take on a case.

1. Describe the pain in detail
The pain is burning and itching. Hurts more to sit down. Don't want anything touching the area as it irritates it. The itching becomes so bad at times that I have to rub myself against something to get relief and then this causes it to get worse because it becomes even more irritated. It's like a hot burning pain.
2. What makes the symptoms (itching, pain) worse?

3. What makes the symptoms better? When I rub the area intensely with my hand or against something. I have used apple cidar vinegar to clean the area and that gives some relief. Other than that sitting with legs open and no clothes is the only other relief i get.

4. Describe your Stress (what it feels like, what makes it worse, what makes it better)The stress makes my whole body tense up. I have been clenching my jaw at night to the point where i have to wear a night guard. When i notice that i'm stressed and force myself to relax i realize my whole body has been in a clenched position. When I can focus on something else it helps. When I dwell on it it gets worse. If i have a few glasses on wine i feel better temporarily but if i have to much i feel worse about things the next day.

5. Describe your anxiety: Anxiety I feel is similar to stress. I'm anxious over the future and moving toward a divorce.

6. Describe your depression: I get depressed when i think about how my son my be affected by me leaving his dad. I get depressed when I think about how i have hurt his dad. When it's gloomy out and i'm tired and i haven't worked out is when i am at my worse.

7. How is your sleep affected: I wake up every couple of hours. I always toss and turn and usually wake up earlier than the alarm clock.

8. Did you receive injections to suppress your menses each time, or was it a combination of other methods? I never had any injections. I was on a mild birth control pill

9. When exactly in the afternoon and evening are you worse? Mid afternoon it seems to get worse but i can get more relief when i get home and take can my clothes off

10. Talk about being 'mildly suspicious': Sometimes I wonder if my son's dad is not telling me the truth about some things. Sometimes I question things that i'm told by people but not often.

11. Talk about 'preferring not to argue': I don't like conflict. I don't argue well and get upset very quickly during an argument.I find it hard to convey my thoughts

12. How often do earthquake dreams occur? Rarely

13. Describe in detail the earthquake dream: I was in the doorway and the whole building was moving towards its side. It paused and I was yelling for my son and for God. Then then building starting tipping more and I woke up

14. What exactly are your fears for the future? Fear of being able to support myself financially when i get divorced. Fear of being alone when i'm older. Fear that my son will want to be with his dad more than me

15. What aspect of health do you have fears about? General health. I have fears about being inflicted with something serious or will be incapacitated in some way.

16. What do you fear will happen to your son? I fear that someone will try to abduct him. Lot's of people including strangers are drawn to him and it gets me scared

17. What kind of green colour is your stool?About the same green as on the posts on this page but a little bit darker. Like olive drab

Hi- I suggest that you post a new thread.

1. Ask for Evocationer in the headline

2.Copy and paste the answers to his questions on it.

3.Fill out his specific intake form instead of the one on here.http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/410750/5

I apologise I seem to have lost track of this thread.

As I have my own clinic which can take up a fair amount of my attention, it is possible I can inadvertently overlook your post. Please bump it to the top by posting a reminder.

I will make this a priority today as I seem to have a reasonably quiet day patient-wise.

Simone I also apologise if I jumped in. I didn't realise you took cases, I thought I had only seen you giving general advice rather than making prescriptions.

Alright I have had a look through your symptoms. This is how I analysed it.

I used an eliminating rubric which was a combination of:

Tight clothing aggravates and Loosening clothing ameliorates

Then out of the remedies indicated in both rubrics I looked at the following rubrics:

Better dry weather
Worse windy weather
Worse tobacco smoke
Worse noise
Worse cold
Desires wine
Independent
Anxiety about the future
Fear of poverty
Ailments from discords/aversion to Quarrelling

This brings to my attention the following remedies:

Bryonia
Calc
China
Lach
Nux-vom
Puls
Sepia
Sulphur

Looking to the mentals to decide, I would suggest Nux-vomica as your remedy. If you could obtain 200c we can discuss dosage once you have it.

Evocationer last decade
Thank you. I flying from DC to San Diego soon but when I get to the store tomorrow I can get nux vomica 200c. Usually I have some on hand but I have run out

tsutton27 last decade
I have the Nux Vomica 200c. Right now my yeast infections has subsided because i have taken back to back over the counter medicine which i don't like to do but I needed relief. I believe they keep coming on due to my immune system being compromised from stress. I have noticed that when things are becoming overwhelming i get cold sores or yeast infections. I have managed to keep the cold sores at bay for many months now which is a change but the YI are another matter.

tsutton27 last decade
Alright make up a dosing bottle. Get a small bottle with a dropper, and fill it with a mixture of alcohol and water (1:5 ratio). The alcohol can be any kind of spirit, as long as it has nothing else mixed with it (like cream, milk, chocolate etc). I usually use brandy, vodka, rum, or even ethanol alcohol. Place 5 pellets into the bottle and allow them to dissolve fully.

For each dose, hit the bottle 5 times, and place 1 drop on to the tongue. Do this once only to begin with so that we can assess your response before continuing.

A properly prescribed medicine will usually aggravate your symptoms before they get better. It is important not to suppress them with other kinds of medication if this happens.
