This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Hi,

I am a 48 year old woman. Six weeks ago I developed irritation around the anus and between the buttocks after use of a hair remover in the area.
For 10 days or so it was just mild itching and burning so I ignored it with some cream hoping it would go .

It got worse and and I even had burning at the anus opening while passing stools. There was also burning at the vaginal opening and downwards ( nothing upwards or inside both vagina and anus) SO I went to my GP and she gave me one tablet for yeast infection as the area looked red and inflamed. She also did a pap smear and culture which came back negative for both yeast and bacterial infection. So she told me to just avoid caffine, alcohol sugar etc and see if it went away with OTC anti itch creams.

A homeopath gave me Nit acid and Sulphur, both seemed to bring the anal irritation down but not vaginal. Then the homeo gave me Pulsatilla that seemed to get the vaginal irritation down.

But it BOTH came back again in afew days. It seemed to get worse just before my period, so he gave Calc Carb and causticum for three days. I had my period last week

Again the anal irritation seems a bit better but vaginally I have irritation and burning and soreness just outside the vaginal opening. It seems milder when I get up and worse as the day goes.

I am wondering what this is and if anyone could give me any insights. Is it any infection not visible in swab cultures? Is it just bad chaffing?

My homoepath is away for two weeks so am at a loss for what to do.

I am really anxious as it is not getting cured.

Please help!!!

Do you have other symptoms, or even chronic symptoms that have not yet been successfully treated?

Evocationer 9 years ago
I used to have facial neuralgia - TMJ (2003- 5) that is almost completely gone (with homeopathy) unless I am really stressed. Even then it comes up mildly under control in a couple days with pain killers.
Same with IBS ( 2007-08).
All these seem stress induced.

This time, though there were minor home/family issues, there were no major triggers. In fact I ignored the initial anal itching etc for two weeks as I did not think it was a big deal and would go away.

Hope this answers your question. I have given a detailed summary of myself and my case in the thread above.

I am also wondering if this is nerve related as previous problems have been.

I feel better standing or lying down than sitting. But walking a lot aggravates this.

The reason I asked that is whether you were intending to start chronic treatment with a practitioner here. Six weeks is a long time to have a condition, so it seems to me that the chronic state will need to be addressed. Were you being treated by someone in person who took your whole case, or someone online who was just trying to treat a specific individual complaint (rather than the whole case)?

This was via email, addressed to a specific complaint. Not sure the person did a full analysis, though she knew my case history and has been in touch for several years.
In the past she has changed medications a s symptoms changed. So I just followed advice.
I am of course looking for a complete cure, I am a totally different person when I'm sick and when well.

Well I could have a look at your case, but the amount of information I would need is extensive. If you are happy to do that then follow this link to a questionnaire that gives me the sort of details I require.

If that is more than you care to do, there are other people on this site that work with much less information.

Can I email you the replies?

Evocationer I have emailed you. Let me know if you need any further information.

Alright I have looked over the case. The remedy I would like to start with is Naja 200c. Let me know when you have this and we can discuss dosage.

After the email as the burning did not subside I went back to the GP who diagnozed it as yeast infection - this time it showed up in the culture. she has put me on topical medication for 7 days of which 3 days are done now. I am better. Anal area almost 100% ok except minor negligible itching. Vaginal area also better 60% maybe.
With the above changes,
Do I still take the same medication. I dont have it. Have to mail order. So let me know please if I have to get this or something else?
Thanks so much for all your help.

The remedy was based on your whole case not just the local symptom, so it should work to fix the chronic tendency you have to develop those symptoms.

In fact it was the mental/emotional aspects that most strongly pointed towards the remedy, and these things will not change because of a topical medicine. If anything, suppression would make them worse.

Thanks!

Will mail order the medicine and let you know when it arrives.

I'm sorry for the long gap in my reply. I was battling a bad sinus infection and so delayed in buying the medicine. I finally have naja 200. How do I take it?

My yeast infection lingers at 90% cured.
Some days I feel almost normal, some days not that great..With still a little burning sensation. The doc put me on diflucan for two weeks, 10 days of that gone. Condition still remains at 90 % ok

Thanks !!

What form did you get it in? Liquid or pillules?

Evocationer 9 years ago
Pillules

worried2011 9 years ago
Dissolve 2 pillules in 100mls of water, stir very thoroughly, and take 2 teaspoons of this mixture into the mouth. This is one dose.

However, for subsequent doses you will need to make a proper oral dosing liquid.

You must obtain a small bottle with a dropper, and some alcohol. I typically use brandy or vodka, but any similar spirit would do, including ethanol alcohol if you can get it.

IN the bottle mix alcohol and clean water, 1 part to 5. Dissolve 2 pillules into the bottle. This will be used for all further doses.

Hit the bottle firmly against the palm of the hand 5 times. Place 3 drops in 100mls of water. Stir thoroughly. Take two teaspoons out into the mouth. Throw the rest of the water away.

If you happen to have a clean bottle and dropper already, do this for the first dose as well.

Thanks.
So how often do I take the doses?

worried2011 9 years ago
You will only take one dose to begin with. We can assess the response after 7 days and decide if waiting or further dosing is warranted.

Report of condition after one dose.

Day before dose, - burning in vaginal area returned to almost previous levels. GP put me on a vaginal cream again

Day 1 - One dose of Naja
Day 1 - Burning and heat sensation in vagina early morning, completely disappears by late afternoon
Day 2 - Same.
Day 3 - Same. Notice if I have a lot of water it is better
Day 4- Same as day 3. Burning does not go down in the evening.
Day 5 - Burning and heat in morning. Gets better by evening and disappears.
Day 6 - Negligible burning. Just slight heat in vaginal area.
Day 7 - Very slight heat and burning on waking up. Increased during morning.( Its mid morning now)

In the mean time, my anal fissures problem has got aggravated. Been semi constipated and hard stools. Using stool softener as SOS.

Also family issues brewing again

Bruised sore muscle feeling all over body continues. Noticeable is constant dull ache in fingers and toes. This again was a problem in the past when I was diagnosed with tarsal and carpal tunnel syndrome and cured with accupuncture and homeopathy. Completely forgotten about it, till it seems to be resurfacing.

Please advise. Thanks!

Now the requirement of this website is that we manage cases through the forum. I need to know specifically what improvement has happened in the characteristics and symptoms I used to prescribe Naja. Can I post those here?
