What was the very first panic attack about?

I want you to understand what goes on with panic attacks. After the first
panic attack people become afraid of having another one.
The original panic attack sets off the lower part of the brain, into
a 'survival' route to release adrenaline and flood your body with it,
so that you will either be able to fight off danger or run from danger. Most
of the time there is no danger at all, so your body cannot use the adrenaline ( which is why you shake and shiver)
and it feels terrible- And at the same time the body releases the adrenaline
it shuts off blood flow to your front brain. Your front brain is where you
think logically and could stop the panic. But you cannot bc the lower brain
thinks it is protecting you from life or death and there is no time to think
in that situation- and it does the takeover in seconds.
While this is going on- all things to do with it are recorded in your memory
and coated with extra chemicals and stored differently than normal memory.
This is done to again- protect you in case anything similar- sight , sound,
smell, touch, will set off one of the 'memories' and then start to set off
another panic attack.
The more you can stay 'logical' and know there is really no danger-
then you yourself can stop the panic loop from over-riding your nervous
system. You need to identify the 'trigger' that sets this off and often
the trigger can be a 2 second thought and then you have the sensations starting
which then send you into more fear and create the panic.
If you understand the process it is less scary.
