Differentiating healing vs proving

I am hoping you can help me differentiate between a healing and a proving of a remedy.
I started Lycopodium about a month ago for some mens sexual health issues. The remedy profile seemed to fit pretty well. Since this is a long standing issue that has been worsening with age I started with two pellets of a 200c once for two weeks. I also included a 30c several times in between. I stopped when things began to change. My sexual strength seemed to improve but I began having strong sensations of fighting incontinence, something I've never had before. Because I do physical, work which includes fitness training, the incontinence feeling was very strong when going into various stances during my work. This is terrible annoying and concerning. I don't know whether this is part of a healing, or I need a new remedy for the new symptoms, or need to antidote the Lycopodium.
Thanks for your suggestions.

Hi-

You cannot prescribe for yourself on chronic things- even homeopaths do not
prescribe for themselves.

On Lyco 200 once you go to a potency level you do not go DOWN in potency level-
you have to wait some time to do that if one thinks that the 200c had no effect.

You have had too much Lycopodium and you need to stop taking it and wait
a week or two to see if the incontinence fades off on its own. If it does not
come back on here.

OK, thanks. It's been a little over a week. I'll see what happens over the next week.

Ok you have created a problem here.

In taking 30c after 200c, you may have antidote the higher potency, or you may have created a proving. This is a fairly risky way to use homoeopathy.

Do not try to antidote, you will only cause more problems. Self-prescribing is not something anyone should do for chronic complaints. You may end up grafting new symptoms on top of your old ones.
