Sulpher? To understand how to use it safely.

I wanted to understand Sulpher more as many websites and books said be careful using Sulpher as it can cause an intense healing crisis and I feel bad that I now have a cautious bias towards using Sulpher higher then 200c because I do not want to create too intense of a healing crisis. So maybe some of you homoepathic practitioners could help me to better understand the use of Sulpher and how to use it safely. And how it can help a case with more ease. Thank you.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you are not a homeopath or studying real homeopathy courses,

you should not be prescribing more than first aid type of things for
acute conditions and not going past a 30c potency that matches the acute
conditions.

Homeopaths go to other homeopaths to prescribe for them, and
if a case is a chronic problem , you need to turn that over to
an experienced person. .

The question you are really asking is 'How do I practice homoeopathy'. It is not really possible to do that on a forum. There is a lot of study that goes into homoeopathy, a lot of practice. You have to understand the philosophy that underpins it, as well as be familiar with our materia medica so that you can decide if Sulphur is the correct medicine. There are thousands of possible medicines for any patient, for any condition. It is actually an intensely hard job juggling all the rules, principles, and information just to make one successful prescription.

The reality is that every remedy should be used carefully. Homoeopathy is not safe in the way that some people think, in the way that some people try to convince others it is. It is a powerful form of medicine that, if used incorrectly, can leave a mark upon a person for their lifetime (until cured in some way whether by homoeopathy or something else).

However, as an old teacher of homoeopathic philosophy, I am actually always happy to answer specific questions. So if you want to learn about particular things (with a more narrow focus) I might be able to help you understand them.

Hi Evocationer,

I only asked out sincere respect. I actually would like to go to school for homeopathy. I know it is important to respect the medicine and know it is powerful and to be mindful that it is not something to tinker with or a child's game. It has helped me tremendously. I read books and watch videos on homeopathy almost daily to continue to understand it more. When it comes to helping my dad I came on the forum because I want to see what insight I receive in what will help him as he will not step into any doctors office. He does not mind bothing to speak with me with answers.

Someone on a forum had mentioned sulpher but I thought you had to be more careful with sulpher and I do not want to add to my dads stress.

So I just wanted to understand sulpher and open to learning more about the structure of homeopathy, miasms, families etc.

Again this out of total respect and appreciation of the healing power of homeopathy.

Thank you.

That's ok. I will look at the case and see what I think. I know why you are thinking of Sulphur but let me see what I can see :)
