I read your tips for high BP on the archives and want to see if you can help me. I already send in my post but received no reply. mu husband 46 years, well trained, having a stressful job, suddenly got (about two months back) a sudden surge in blood pressure (it came with a headache). After rest it was managed but since this time one could consider him a blood pressure case. The systolic is not that which scares me but the diastolic is on waking on working days most of the time around 100. Today it was l06. Last night it was down to 90. I have tried crataegus, now giving arnica, but we can't seem to get it in control. Last weekend he managed to get it down to 83, but two days later it is up again. he has changed his diet. losing weight and doing sports. But since the first blood pressure surge he is like a caged animal and totally restless. he does not even know what is causing his restlessness. We have not gone for allopathic treatment for we are bothe devout believers in the homeopathy. Please tell me if you can help me.
Furthermore, I feel that since this instrance (of the sudden rise) he has entered a kind of mid life crisis. I don't know if the BP is the result of the crisis or the crisis is the result of the BP. But the high diastolic is scaring. Furthermore he says he feels extremely fit and physically he has not felt better in the last 15 years. Yoshi

Thanks for the reply. I shall begin the Veratum v. What I further forgot to mention is that he has a pulse of about 65. Despite the chaotic pressure. And does not feel unfit in any way.

Dont worry about the pulse. For any emergency repeated doses of veratrum veride will be helpful. For cure you can use plumbum iodide 30 ,5 drops thrice daily alongwith calcaria flour 3x,5 tablets thrice daily.Continuous use of calcaria flour sometimes cures blood presseure permanently, but it needs time.I hope he will be well soon.If you are who e-mailed me then you got the answer.Welcome for any assistance.
thanku,

thanks for your advice. I bought veratum, but it was in 4x and tablets. Here in Germany it is available only above 4x. You think it would suffice? And if you think tablets are ineffective, I would go and get the liquid potency. Please inform me.
Secondly plumbum, I presume 30 means 30c? Thanks for your advice. Yoshi

verartrum veride 4x tablet form is equally effective. You can use them.30 means 30c,

Dear Sajjad, Thanks for the help. I put my husband on the remedies you recommended. Of course patience is called for, no major changes as yet. His BP is strange. It is not eternally high, sometimes on waking, or on going to bed or then sometimes at work. Since a few weks ago he is a very restless person. Sleeping peacefully and suddenly very restless in sleep. He say he is restless and agitated, but does not know why. he has never been like this until about two to three weeks back. He does not know what he wants and is generally uneasy and tense. i did not see this change, for i was out of the country for 2 weeks. NO, there hs been no one else in his life either.
I think this is a direct result of the BP problem. Surfing the net I am always confronted with the symptoms of mid life crisis. He is 46. Achieved the goals he has set for in life. Physically in top form. Could this be a mid life crisis? And do the BP rise for such. of course I even thought of a burn out syndrome, but there I think the BP drops and physically one is not fit.
Tell me if you can give me any tips. I cannot explain the reason for his restlessness, but it pains me to see it that I end up awake the whole night observing him.
I don't know from which part of the globe you are writing from, but here in the west I think all these syndromes and crisises are a part of civilazations ills. Thanks, Yoshi

I am from the east.I have seen the west but it is not best.Best is always the homeland ---the birth place--i dont know it is your birth place or not.If your husband has achieved all the targets,he is the lucky man.Blood presseure is not concerened with this age.He is quite young. It matter only at the age of 70 or above when the blood vessels becomes hardened.Let him drink plenty of water if he can do in this winter season. It is too cold there.
Verartrum veride will help him.Regarding his restlessness---it is he that can tell you the cause. The medicine that is successful for restlessness is aconite 200c.Most of the time it removes restlessness. The cause should be known.

Thanks for your reply Sajjad. I shall get onto aconite. Regarding reason for restlessness, he himself is not sure. Though I live in the west I am originally from the east. My husband is the westerner, hence the agony of living away from the homeland. Thanks again
