Allergy help needed for my babyI hope someone will be able to give me some help.
My little boy is 23 mths now and still being breastfed, I have a lot of allergies myself. My wee boy is allergic to pollen, wild grasses moulds and spores and dustmite, i can cope with his food allergies but when he comes in contact with the ones he breathes in it has an asthmatic effect on him, his nose starts running a clear fluid, sneezes a lot, he then gets a dry cough then a sore throat from all the coughing and you know he is sore, then the next day he starts wheezing and cant breathe properly, he uses his stomach muscles and has rapid breathing and is out of breath if he exerts himself a little bit, then he has to get the nebuliser from my doctor and i dont want it but its the only thing i can get.
also ventolin inhaler, he dosn't react to well to this his heart beats faster and gets clammy and sick. The next day his chest has loosened and you can hear the cough has loosened, then it usually takes about a week for it all to clear, its always the same pattern. I dont want him to be on drugs and steroids, can i cure the ailments and help him when it starts, before it gets to the stage where he needs to be put on a nebuliser. I would be greatful for any help you can give, I live in Northern Ireland and dont have any support from the medical profession, only drugs, they insist he has asthma, but i know its only when he comes in contact with allergens mentioned that he reacts the way he does.
