The ABC Homeopathy Forum

lookin for a remedy for something that is hard to explain

I have (for lack of a better term) snot between my sinuses and my throat that prevents me from sleeping at night. I'm continually trying with the back of my tongue to get this "stuff" dislodged, and it prevents sleep. I'm sure there is a term for this condition, but I don't know it. I get this condition every year, and last year it hung on for 4 months. It all begins with a head cold. I thanks you for your help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Prof J H Allen once observed that gonorrhea is now so common that it is no wonder that most of the human race is afflicted with catarrh ,

There are a group of micro organisms Neisseria . which have as members
meningococcus
pharyngis
gonococcus
catarrhalis

Thus if at any time you have had a dose of gonorrhea "cured" by antibiotics it is highly likely that you will end up with gluey catarrh .

This has now reached the stage where you may have the condition as part of your genetic inheritance.

I have helped people by suggesting the use of
Medorrhinum 30c -- one tablet on three sucessive nights.

No guarantee I´m afraid.

no gonorrhea here. i guess gluey catarrh is a good description of my condition except, I don't have a sore throat all the time with this.
Like now, I don't. But I have in times past. Thanks for the recommendation.
