Irregular periods and sudden acne breakout on chin

Hi,
- 17 years old
- Main concerns: Irregular periods. Sudden acne breakout (mainly concentrated on my chin) since about 2-3 weeks
- My periods have been irregular since about a year after I started my period. I began my period at around 12 years old.
- I used to have eczema on my face and certain parts of my body when I was 12, which I took graphites for, and it healed very well. Some very mild eczema has remained on my back and around my nipples, but it's not a concern for me.
- my sudden acne break out began on my forehead and chin. My forehead has healed well, but my chin is really bad.

My mother has done a brief course in homeopathy and suggests I take Sepia 30c for my sudden acne problem/ irregular periods (after having looked at my personality/features etc).

My question is, how many times a day should I take Sepia 30C and for how many days?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
btw, I have never really been an acne sufferer before. This is the first time I've had a break out, and its realllly bad. :(

You may take Sepia 30 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects over 15 days.

Thank you for your reply!
In this case, how many drops would 1 dose be (in liquid form)?

Saroureh 5 years ago
One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Is it possible to take magnesium supplements while taking homeopathy?

Also, I am very deficient in vitamin D and my doctor has told me to take Vit D3 5000 daily for 3months. Is this ok to take during homeopathic treatment?

There is no harm in taking supplements while taking homeopathy. There are enough vitamins in our diet and homeopathic remedies improve their assimilation.

Just to update you, I just got my period yesterday after 2 months of it being absent (hope this is a good sign) But my acne has not reduced as yet

I saw a brief improvement in the acne on my chin, but that literally lasted for a day or two, and the next day I found myself with 4 new pimples on my chin :(
My forehead acne has also returned..

Is the remedy working? Should I take more doses?

Saroureh 5 years ago
You may repeat the remedy after 15 days on need.

I dont feel this sepia has had any affect on my acne. While my chin improved VERY briefly, my forehead acne came back simultaneously..

When you target the remedy at totality you should wait patiently for change in local symptoms. Natrum Mur may be considered for acne.

Now my chin has improved a lot. Only two pimples on it at the moment. My forehead is still pretty bad
