for the attention of FITNESS. PLEASE would you mind looking at my sons case

Hi Fitness

I would love for you to view my son's case.
he needs treating for a few things but mainly his mood.
he is only 8 and hes such a miserable boy that moans about everything and is so negative and it's got so bad lately.
hes been unwell for 6 weeks and only got better after having acupuncture but I feel there's something underlying because of his awful moods.
I would be grateful if you could help
many thanks

Thanks so much for responding I appreciate it

1. Age, weight, height
Age 8 ,
weight 3stone 13 lbs.
I need to measure him
2. Physical appearance of the child e.g. thin, chubby, tall, short
Hes very short compared to most kids in his class although he's one of the eldest.
Hes is wearing the correct age clothes though but I would say he was average build but on the shorter side.

3. Describe the nature of the child (shy, headstrong etc. give details)
Very sensitive loving child. He craves attention.
Hes extremely stubborn.
Hes very negative and is always saying he can't do this and that and puts himself down.
He gets angry and frustrated easily.
He does lack confidence in some situations although better than he was.
He moans and whines all the time.

4. Have the growth milestones (e.g. teething, standing, walking, talking etc. )achieved early, on time or late
Teething was average at 6 months.
Standing early at 8 months.
Walking early at 10 months.
Talking was slightly more delayed and was around 2 1/2 before he spoke properly.

5. What are the symptoms of the health problem
I would say his general mood.
Negative. Puts himself down.although hes praised alot.
He gets frustrated and shouts.
Answers back and is so very stubborn.
He doesn't like being alone.at night * this is quite a problem lately*
Hes so bossy with his brother.
Hes always saying noone listens to him but hes the one that doesn't listen to a thing anyone says.
He struggles in school with concentration and can't do things alone he likes group work so people can help him.
NAIL BITING big issue. He hardly has any nails left he bites them so much. His fingers or toes are constantly in his mouth if he's watching telly.
He will even pick them

A few digestive issues. He was feeling awfully sick for a long while after a tummy bug and was getting headaches. He had acupuncture and is much better although he still sometimes feels sick before opening his bowls but it's improved dramatically.
Also his negative whining mood.
Hes rarely happy about anything and you may tell him hes won a million pounds and it won't be enough. He whines or grunts instead of talking.
Hes not permenantly like this he can be cheery and lovely but the miserable mood is a lot lately.
Its definitely been since some underlying virus or problem in his gut that this got worse. It all started with fevers and headaches 7 weeks ago. Then a tummy bug etc
I would say the nausea has pretty much gone since the acupuncture.
I haven't painted a very nice picture about him but he is a very sensitive and thoughtfull boy
6. What makes the problem better without using medicines.
hes not permenantly miserable but he is always negative.
7. What makes the problem worse without using medicines
when he can't get what he wants or his brother doesn't do as he says
8. How is the child behaving emotionally during this problem

9. How long the problem has been there
The negativity always there so is the getting frustrated but I would say it's got worse in the last 2 months
10. What is the reason of the problem in mother’s view
Jealous of his brother.
He is always saying no one listens to him and this bothers him.but it could be that you didnt hear him yet he will shout saying no one listens.

11. How is the child’s thirst & appetite
Always hungry. Drinks well too

12. What does the child like to eat
If it was his choice he would like sweet things
But between meals I only usually allow fruit.
Or rice cakes with peanut butter or something similar

13. What does the child dislike in food
Dislikes fish and really isnt keen on meat.
He is very put off if he sees fat on meat

14. Is there any strong preference of taste e.g. sweet, salty, sour, bitter
Sweet
15. How is the stool & urine
Don't know about urine but stool had been changeable
16. How is the child’s sleep
He takes a long time to get to sleep but slespsr well once he's asleep
17. What is the child afraid of (animals, insects, darkness, alone etc.)
He gets lonely in his bed at night and says he doesn't like feeling like it.

18. Where does the child sweat normally
His head
19. How much does the child sweat (little, moderate, a lot)
Little
20. Any problems with nose, throat, ears, chest
Ear problems. When he gets a cold he has never had a snotty runny nose. It all seems to collect in his ears and cause pain and infection.

21. Is the child normally cold or hot
Hot. He really hates wearing socks.

22. Was it a planned pregnancy, if not, how did you feel on finding about it
Not really planned but was happy to find out the news.
23. How was the pregnancy of the mother (morning sickness, bleeding, happy, sad, tense etc)
Hurrendous heartburn. Serious stress due to being victimised at work due to being pregnant. Awful stress.

We separated when he was almost 2 1/2 we get in really well as friends. I am married now and his father is engaged.

Is he the elder or the younger brother.

Is the other brother step.

When did he start nail biting, what was going on in your and his life at that time.

Is he scared of dark or loneliness at night.

Does he have any strange behavior e.g. handling genitals etc.

Did you breastfeed him.

How was your delivery of this son.

Does he get along with his step dad.

fitness 9 years ago
He is the eldest.
yes step brother.
He has bit nails for as long as I can remember.
I really don't know when it started or what was going on.
he does like collecting things. Anything shiny.and.hoarding it in his room.
not as bad as he used too.
he does get on with his.stepdad but there not as close as they we're before his.brother came along nearly 5 years ago.
he does get on with his brother and they play nicely alot.
In my eyes i think he feels that people are always moaning at him.
his dad has a partner too and hes.not as close to her as he used to be.
he said.he feels lonely and he wants the light on so I think it's both but mainly lonely.
I breastfed for 4weeks only.
he was a poorly baby with severe intolerance to milk including my milk.
he had lots of bloody stools

Your remedy is: Medorrhinum 200c.

HOW TO TAKE THE REMEDY:
Please take one dose. Just one dose. Not daily.
Report back in 5 days with changes observed.

WHAT IS A DOSE:
If remedy is Pills/Pellets:
One dose is one pill.
Dissolve the pill in your mouth.

If remedy is liquid:
Put one drop of the remedy in half glass of water, stir and take one tea spoon from it.
That’s one dose.

FOR CHILDREN:
If the child can't safely suck on the pill/pellets then one dose is made by dissolving one pill of the remedy (or one drop, if you have liquid remedy) in half a glass of cooled, boiled water. Stir it and take one tea spoon from it.

TIME OF DOSE:
At night before sleeping.
Don’t take any more dose or any other remedy unless I tell you.

PRECAUTIONS:
Don’t take any other homeopathic remedy during this treatment.
Give a break of at least 10 minutes before eating/drinking anything before or after taking the remedy.
During the course of treatment, don’t eat/drink anything which you have never had all your life.

HOMEOPATHIC AGGRAVATION:
Sometimes the symptoms for which treatment is being done can worsen after taking the homeopathic remedy. This is homeopathic aggravation and a good sign. It usually dies down within 24-48 hrs. During this time you can use any non-medicinal means to keep yourself comfortable. If the aggravation seems excessive, you can use any & all means necessary (including taking allopathic medicines) to keep yourself comfortable. Keep your homeopath fully updated if this happens.

HOW TO GIVE FEEDBACK:
A good example of how to report your progress is by giving %age improvement for all your health problems e.g.
Headache: 30% better
Low energy level: 50% better
Anxiety: 40% better
Sadness: No change
Depression: Worse
And so on list all your complaints.

IF I DON’T REPLY:
If you don’t hear back from me within 24 hrs, it is likely that the forum’s email didn’t work. You can send me an email by clicking my username.

Hi fitness.
The remedy has arrived today but needed to let you know the nausea has returned that we originally went to acupuncture for.
it all started in july he was getting random headaches then a few weeks later he had such a bad headache I took him to hospital as he went all lethargic then he projectile vomited and it relieved the headache. He did actually have a tummy bug at this point.
from then on he kept getting this nausea after eating or before opening his bowels.
I spoke to someone at ainsoworth who thought it could be liver related and he saw a nutrionist who thought the same.
I did not go into detail about this before because he was so much better I thought he was cured.
he got ulcers in his mouth at the time too.
the ulcers have returned and be has felt nausea again today.
He is a nightmare at bedtime and cannot stand being alone.
I went out last night and he was so upset he even hid my keys to stop me going.
The last couple of nights he has woken early hours saying he can't sleep ( hes never done this)
I have also had him on his own today and hes been the perfect child. So helpful and chatty
I thought this was important to tell you before starting the remedy.
Regards

Please give the dose as suggested. Any unresolved symptoms may surface again to be cured, we will see if that happens.

Hi Dr
My son refused the remedy yesterday which he has never done before, his is different in his mood as previous described.
He was begging for nux vom as it helped in a few weeks before.
I did give nux as he is in an acute but will five the remedy you suggested today.
Nux vom seems to help him go to the loo and once his Bowls have emptied he feels less nauseous.
The nauseous is so bad he won't eat and the pain at the top of his tummy he keeps complaining of, the headache is better but the nauseous feeling starts the second he eats anything.
He has brushed his teeth and I will give remedy in a short while so thus won't affect it and keep you posted.
Thanks

Hi fitness
I don't want you to think I'm not trusting your advice and if you still say go ahead I will.
His symptoms have completely changed along with his mood.
I feel the moods he was in was a build up to what ever is going on now.
I have been sat in the bathroom with him for nearly 2 hours because of this nausea.
I am worried about him :-(

pixie wood 9 years ago
Since you are there, you are better judge. You can & should do whatever makes you & your son comfortable. You can give Nux if you like. When the old symptoms return, you know my prescription.

Thank you Fitness.
I appreciate this.
I did wonder if you knew of a remedy for his acute.
The nux vom I am not totally sure it helps each time and I don't want to over do it.

Of I described him now you wouldn't think it was the same boy.
He had purple/dark circles under his eyes.
He get this very severe nauseous, usually guaranteed in the morning.
He has not eaten properly for two days... This isn't bug.
Yesterday he was nauseous all day long with a headache . He opened his bowels twice which only relieved it slightly then the third time was slightly loose but not much of it but he improved dramatically.
He finally ate some snacks but went to sleep feeling sick with headache.
He woke feeling sick in the morning. Opened his bowels and felt a little better and ate a rice cake with peanut butter on but after felt nauseous for 3 1/2 hours he was so bad I was sat in the loo with him over an hour, he was covinced he would be sick. Every time he moved he felt worse..
When it finally passed we went to a party.
He has been drinking but eats small things and quite often it triggers the nauseous.
I have forgotten to mention he also gets pain in his upper abdomen and very occasionally tingles in his legs.
He also has an ulcer in his mouth
He get random headaches above his eyes on his forehead too. They seem ralated to the bowel issue.
It's like toxins building up in his body but I am not 100% on that and it's weird the nauseous after eating.

His mood right now is good. When he feels bad he wants affection.
He isn't getting as cross.
He is showing his caring affectionate side.
This week he won't go to bed alone. He calls every night and demands I stay with him as he doesn't want to be alone he will panic and tell me off if he thinks I am going to sleep before him.
He's fine going to school but I tried to go out Thursday evening and he got so upset that he hid my car keys and begged me not to go.
It seems the issei is when I leave him not when he leaves me and it's usually when I go out in the evening he's not as worried in the day.

I have noticed slightly stale breath but I think it's where he hasn't been eating.
Earlier on when he was feeling so sick all he kept saying was he wished he was someone else and he would do anything to feel better.
He was begging me to help him.
Let me knowmyour thoughts
Thanks
