Oral Surgery (Alveoplasty)
Hello,I had 28 teeth removed and Alveoplasty on all four quadrants in July of this year. I healed quickly but still have two small areas on my lower front jaw that feel slightly full - almost as if they've not recovered from the numbing agent used. They do NOT feel numb, just full/packed.
I now have to go back and have Alveoplasty redone on the left upper and lower quadrants, as well as removal of bone spurs in the lower front. I'm looking for guidance on what I can take to keep the bruising and swelling to a minimum as well as what I should take to help with my bruised/damaged nerves in lower front jaw, as the surgeon is going to be going back in there and I'd like to give those poor nerves every opportunity to recover.
