Any difference between tincture or pill?

Can someone please tell me the difference from prescribing pills or tinctures? I heard that ticture could be more effective.

Is there any truth in this?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Tinctures are usually in liquid form and are concentrated. The pills are usually in potency form as 3x,6c,30c and so on.Tincture are the first potency .If you do not still understand contact again.
