Alcohol withdrawal

hi. i'm going through alcohol withdrawal after being a heavy drinker for years. i've read that nux vomica is good for helping with cravings and settling the stomach. i also have irregular cycle for the last seven years. i fit the sepia profile almost perfectly. can i take sepia alongside nux vomica?
