9 month old Baby Deep Chest Congestion/ cough
You all have been wonderful! New insight to me on Homeopathic meds!! I have 2 questions:1. 9month old baby has wet cough deep from chest no red in the face. I can feel her chest~rattling sound. Her breathing is somewhat labored at times. Slight runny nose. No fever. What can I give to a baby?
2. My 3 and 4 year old has had a cold maybe 3 colds in a row. The stage they are in now is wet cough. No fever. My 4 yr old tends to get her colds and goes straight to her chest. However, both have sneezed several times yesterday and today. What can I give them!

Since I last posted, my 9 month old has gotton worse. Her chest is so rattly! when she breathes, it sounds wheezy. It sounds like congestion is in her throat to. No runny nose. Her cough has gotton deeper. What do you think of Medorrhinum? Thanks

I gave my baby Ant Tart 6X (3 pellets )at 2pm, 5pm, 9pm. Is that too much?? I also have been giving her Sambucol Elderberry 1/2 tsp every 3 hours. TIA

In my experience when the cold go to chest and there is congestion feeling, difficult breath, tendency to catch cold, especially in case of infants, there are too medicine who act the best, LYCOPODIUM and KALI BICH , but Lycopodium has given much better results.

Hi Tammy,
If there is much rattling in the chest, but nothing can be expectorated, (unproductive cough)ANTIM TART can give good results.
If whatever little is coughed out is very stringy, Kali bi is the right remedy.
If the expectoration has to be swallowed, and there are other symptoms like reduced thirst etc, think about Pulsatilla.

What is the effect of ANTIM TART? Are the symptoms same/ better/ changed in any way?
For acute illnesses like fever/ cold/ cough/ indigestion etc, 30 and 200 potencies give great results.

Hi,
I have given her 4 doses of Ant Tart 6x and seem to help a little. She is not worse today. Seems like there is congestion in her throat. When she breathes, you can hear it gurgling. Still rattling in her chest.....however it seems less though. I have to order the 30C.....I heard there would be a faster result. i tend to have kids that have this chesty congestion....Thanks
