Phytolacca Berry

Hi,

SBL India has Phytolacca Berry tabs for WEIGHT REDUCTION.

Saw the bottle almost like tissue salts costs Rs 50 approx. Clearly mentioned for Weight Reduction.

If anybody has used it, could they post the results on this forum. It would help everyone.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Phytolacca Berry tablets are very much suitable for weight reduction but you have to be very careful for food intake.That must not be excessive.

I rarely saw anybody losing weight by phytolacca berry but it is good for countless other problems ie. sore throats, scalp eczema, dandruff or -----

I too tried Phytolacca berry,but no results. It is a sheer waste of money.

If you read about Phytolacca berry, it is thought to be helpful to obese people, just because a type of bird, which eats these seeds was found to be always lean.

May be they eat sensibly and stay fit, not because of Phytolacca Berry. :)

Instead try to reduce your food intake and do exercise daily.

Phytolacca Berry reduces weight but what we are getting in the market are sub standard,However there is no substitute of exercise.I agree with all of you friends.

In my experience, I have never achieved any visible level of weight reduction with Phytolacca Berry (with German made), even after patients doing proper work-outs. I have personally dropped this preparation for weight reduction.

Now the next question, how come SBL produced and marketed the product. Even Homoeo Doctors are prescribing. One such friend of mine has brought this bottle and consuming 2 tabs twice in a day on the advise of his local homoeopath.
When I advised him to take Nat Phos 6x, he did not try but when the doctor advised he has brought 2 bottles

Strange isnt it. How do you trust your homoeopath now.

I am taking Phytolacca Berry tablets since last 3 months (1 tab 3 times daily before meal).

I got zero result on the contrary I am having alergy by taking medicine.

Please note My height is 5'7'.
Weight : 84 kg.
Age : 4o years
Gender : Femail
Suffering from Thyroid (taking Eltrocin 1 tab daily)

Phytolacca berry could not give you good results because you are suffering from Thyroid. I suggest you to take only THYROIDINUM-200( 3 drops per dose) once a day for a week and report.

Pl. adv. whether I should withdraw both Eltrocin and Phytolacca for good result.

Please also note that at present my TSH is normal.

I have tried it with results

My interest was not on weight but my waist size it was 42'

May 7th 2007 started a workout programme

Morning 1/2 hour swimming and evening 1/2 hr walking

Till august no good result

In august saw this phytolacca bought 1 bottle (100/- containing 100 tabs as told by seller 3 times a day 1 tab at a time
By september (ie 1 month )lost 3'

It may not be tablets alone but I think there is an added effect

Now bought a different co make preperation and is liquid will post the effect later

its wonderfull, but trust me you have to take only Dr. Willmar Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry Tabs, some Doctor was telling me its the best becvause they use only berries, not the entire plant and that too they use only imported berries and they are different and effective.

I am a hypothyroidism patient.taking phytolacca berry 2 tabs 3 times before meal for last 2 months with homeopathy medicine for hypothyroidism.I can't tell you the name of thyroid medicine because it is supplied by local homeopathy doctor not mentioned the name.one is brown colour liquid which I take 10 drops with half cup cow milk and one small white tablet at night.
I am getting getting any result in terms of weight but my thyroid within limit under medication.
What should I do to get weight loss fast?
