Please help - Burning sensation on left footHello Dr,
I am 32 yrs 3 months old, male. I am from west Bengal, India.
I have severe burning sensation on the sole of left foot. I noticed this for the first time in 2010 just after I had jaundice for the second time.
I do not feel anything during the day, only when I return from work in the evening it starts burning and continues through out night. Its worse when I am in bed.
Some time I also have severe pain in the left knee ( which stays for few days) as well.
Putting cold water helps a lot, I keep my left foot out of the blanket.
I had consulted allopathic doctors and they termed it as peroneal neuropathy. I had undergone nerve conduction test in 2012 and the test releaved that only 40% of electrical current was passing through my left peroneal nerve(0.9 mili volt was conducted by the nerve when a current of 2 milli volts). I had also done MRI of my spine but there was no problem found in the spine(L-5)
I have difficulty in sleeping, I usually do not sleep unless I pass out while reading some book or listening to music. I also feel I am short of breath. people have often told me I am breathing very heavily after some physical activity - like climbing stairs.
I am a smoker since the age of 17, I have tried to quit many times but failed. I have noticed my burning sensation worsens when I quit smoking.
One thing people always keep telling me that my eyes are half closed just like a drug addict(though I am not)
I feel that during sex I ejaculate prematurely.
I have a very harsh voice, I can only talk very loudly or whisper very slowly.
I eat food when its cold- even tea. I prefer vegetarian food.
I do not like to talk to strangers. I talk a lot with my colleagues, but I don't discuss my personal problems.
Below are some answers of the questions I saw you asked another patient:
Are you able to wear tight clothing or high neck clothes? No, I feel very uncomfortable with tight clothes. I only like to wear t-shirts with collars but do not wear or like high neck clothes.
Are you suspicious ?
Yes.I cannot trust anyone unless I verify the truth.
Do you ever have exceptional loquacity marked by a rapid change of subject; i.e. jumping abruptly from one
idea to another ?
Yes. I do it a lot, during conversations and during studying.
Do you use your tongue in a very refined but cynical and critical way ? As if you have an intuition about the weakness of others and hence an ability to hurt them with precise sarcastic words ?
Yes, always I point out other people's flaws right on their faces.
Do you ever get jealous ?
Yes. I do not like anyone taking credit for my work.
Are you intense and passionate ? yes, for music, outdoor adventure and studying subjects related to my work.
Please advise me of some remedy.

I would like to help you out with your problem. For the burning issue, take Sulphur 200C single dose. If the medicine is available in pills form then take 4 pills at night on empty stomach, only once. Do not repeat the dose again.
If the medicine is in liquid form, add 3 drops of medicine in a drops of water and take 1 spoon out of that. Discard the remaining water.
This is only a single dose. Kindly reply with any noticeable changes.
