Sore, Watering EyesI am suffering from an eye problem. My eyes are always watering. They look very sore. A bit red.
I constantly have to blot away watery discharge from them. The discharge seems clear. Like tears.
The skin underneath the eyes, and on the eyelid, is flaky, cracked and dry.
When I wake up in the morning, there is crusting that had developed overnight from the liquid drying up around the lower lid, and I have to scratch it off before I open the eyes.
Also some crusty discharge accumulates in inner corners of eye.
Eyes are sensitive to very bright sunshine, to very cold weather outside, to wind.
Thank you very much for any suggestions.
I had tried antibiotic eye drops. But now I'm told it's allergies, and that it's also from dryness. And also told that dry peeling skin around eye looks like eczema. But maybe the peeling skin is an indication that the discharge is acrid?
This developed in the winter when I also had a cold
