Patella dislocation in 11 year old girl Child
My 11 year old year old girl child had suffered a patella dislocation on her right knee , we are trying avoid surgical intervention and currently going through physical therapy treatment ...Is there homeopathic treatment /medication available for this? Here are the diagnostic details from an MRI done :
Mild chondromalacia of the patellar apex and lateral patellar facet
ACL, PCL, MCL are intact
Mild lateral patellar tilt
Mild patella alta TT-TG distance 1.5 cm
Mild thickening of the lateral retinaculum and thinning with medial retinaculum
Trace joint effusion
Thank you in advance for your suggestion /recommendation with a possible homeopathic remedy for this condition .

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I'd strongly suggest to consult an orthopedist and do as he says, as soon as possible.
It would be extreme negligence to wait or try to look for alternatives for this problem.
Homeoapthy can fix only once the organs are in the right place e.g. a broken bone can be fixed only if its set properly first.

We have already consulted an Orthopedist and she is under treatment with physical therapy since last 6 weeks ( Per the Orthopedist , we may need surgical intervention ,if it does get well with the physical therapy)...we are trying avoid a surgical treatment.
The knee cap/patella is in place at this time ...the idea is strengthen soft tissues/muscles etc. that holds it in place.
At this time it is painless ...but the knee cap keeps moving ( painlessly , though).
She is engaged with active sports, swim, dance and therefore , there are chances of repeated dislocation episodes ...something that we want to avoid in future.
Thanks and regards

I doubt if it can be helped with homeopathy unless the knee is made immobile for 6 weeks with a cast first.
Once that is done, you can start her on Ruta 12, one dose daily, for 6 weeks.
Hopefully, it will be cured that way.

She has McConnell Taping done per the Ortho's recommendation ...not a cast though.

As long as the knee movement is stopped Ruta can be given a try. With movement, don't use Ruta.
