Yelo Tablets
My grandfather aged 65 years have been taking four yelo tablets everyday from the past 5 years, someone lately told him that yelo tablets have side effects. So wanted to confirm of the tablets have any side effects.?dhingra_ashna on 2015-05-21

How old are you? I am happy you have so much concern for your grandfather. What are those pills for?

You can suggest him to look for natural means of overcoming these problems. I agree with you, these tablets are not good in the long run. They do have side effects and make a person dependent on pills.

I am not a chemist or druggist but can at least understand these medicines are lab made chemicals, which could overload the liver. Though they help in constipation, our immune system would treat it as a toxin which would in turn expect the liver to detoxify these foreign substances just as it does for alcohol, painkillers or any other artificial drug.
Now, under continual use of these drugs, liver functions could get hampered bringing down its role in digestion. This may cause new problems associated with liver dysfunction, apart from drug dependence.
