Question for homeopath pract. - proving a remedy
My wife was prescribed Aesculus Hippocastanum at 30c 3 doses several months ago. She saw significant improvements for her pelvic problems which are her main problems. She ended up developing pain in her arm from elbow to thumb on the arm she had previously broken. Those symptoms resolved over several weeks but her case stalled so was told to take Aesculus Hippocastanum 6c one dose. Again she saw improvement for main complaints but the arm pain has returned and has been present for 6 weeks. We have moved in the interim away from where are homeopath practices. Wife is hesitant to see homeopath again because of these symptoms although she admits being better off than prior to treatment. Her main complaints were far worse than the arm problems. Is she proving this remedy and can these symptoms be expected to disappear? thanksbaddiver on 2015-06-21
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
She cannot be proving this remedy if she had
one dose of 6c. It does not last very long.
It sounds like her arm due to breaking it,
needs a remedy specific for that. It is often
the case that an injury, accident problem
has to have a different remedy.

Lot's of respect simone but respectfully disagree. No arm pain for 6 years and twice immediately after taking remedy she started experiencing these symptoms. One of the provings I found said pain from elbow to hand. She has a very high energetic system and has over reacted to other remedies in low doses previously. If she was the average patient I would agree. Anyone else out there with experiences with high sensitivity

Hi,
I asked DakterSaab to look at your thread.
He emailed me about it. See below:
I have gone thro the thread & my perception is possibly the remedy is working well & cure is taking in the reverse order ( as suggested By Dr. Clarke)
There might be some old symptom of pain in the arms (which the pt may not be remembering) & it may be coming back. Even it could be a very remote injury long forgotten.
I would have just given a single dose of ARNICA in slightly higher potency than AESCULUS HIPP ( already given). As Arnica is reputed to heal the remotest physical or even mental injury.
This would break a possible barrier. ( Like Thuja does in case of Vaccination)
______________
Dakter Saab thinks it is safe to give her One
dose of Arnica 30c and see if that takes care
of this. You can mix 2 drops in a couple tablespoons of water or 3 pills in a couple tablespoons of water, drink and hold in the
mouth for 20 seconds.

Simone, My wife took 1 dose of Arnica 30c last night as prescribed. This morning her pain in arm is 80% better. I assume just waiting it out would be plan of action now. Please convey our greatfullness to Daakter Saab.

Update: Wife's arm improved about 90% yesterday. Today has slipped back some. Improvement now about 75%. Should she wait or take another dose? Thanks

Hi- Wait a couple days to see if it is
continuing to go backwards.
If it does go backwards, then take another
dose- you may continue to take a dose
each time you are certain things
are backsliding.

You can write to him. He is semi retired and does a lot of traveling, and
does some psychological seminars in different countries.

so this is where my wife is at. We waited a couple days and she was regressing. Took another dose of 30c arnica. Helped for a very short time. Took 200c one dose of arnica a few days later. Got worse immediately but by next morning pain was worse again. The pain was still in the thumb but the pain by elbow moved to a different area by the elbow. Any thoughts?

If she took 200c you have to wait 2 weeks to see what the end
result is.
Many times the remedy will make other pains one does not remember
show up and then leave after a day or two. People forget this and then
want to suppress what is actually coming out. That is why you have to
wait.
