11 wk old infant with severe gas

Hi,

I'm looking for help on homeopathic remedies for my 11 wk old son. He get severe gas attacks even after burping 2-3 times after every feeding. Usually 30min-1 hr after the feeding he will be arching and screaming. His stomach is very hard and his face is bright red. After I can calm him down and am able to burp him, James immediately calms down so I know it's that gas that's causing him pain.
I've been on a diary, egg, gluten, nut free diet for 3 weeks now. I've read that some infants have a diary sensitivity. I have not noticed an improvement in his gas but his stools are back to a dark green or dark yellow color. He does not spit up his milk, nor does he have a sour breathe...I thought earlier he might have acid reflux but he doesn't have all the symptoms.
Gripe water sometimes works to help James relieve gas but not always. I would like to try a homeopathic remedy but I know many are lactose based. Will that cause a problem for James especially since I've been diary free for 3 weeks now?

You think it's okay to give him Lycopodium that is lactose based even if it's common for infants to have a diary sensitivity?
thank you!

The amount is micro. If you want substitute liquid and give
him one drop in a tablespoon of water as a dose instead.
