Distended abdomen/bloating with Silica 1M

Hello everyone:

I am hoping to get some advice here. I have long thought that I might benefit from taking Silica as a homeopathic remedy. I tend to suffer from minor bloating and constipation a fair bit for most of my life.

In March of this year, I took Silica in a 1M potency. Two months later, I took another dose of 1M again.

Here we are 2.5 months since my last dose, where I'm finding that I have alot more bloating than I have ever felt before. It feels like an "aggravation". Is it possible that an aggravation can last for 2.5 months? I know that Silica is slow acting and deep... Would appreciate any help.

it is not an aggravation. homeopathic aggravation can last from a few hours to a few days. silicea is not your medicine.

OK, so should I antidote these doses? I am very sure that I am having these symptoms because of these doses.

antidote of silicea in case of over use is fluoric acid. however your case is not of over use but that of incorrect use. therefore in your case sulphur should be the proper antidote. you can use one dose only either 30 or 200 . you can antidote silicea by hepar sulph also but that is a different class of problems.

I just have one more question on this -- I am surprised that the WRONG homeopathic remedy in a high dose can cause these symptoms almost 3 months after taking it. Can this really happen?

Can you say a little about this?

frankly I don't know. I have never met such a case before. human bodies are peculiar so sometimes they surprise us with things like this.
