Constitutional vs Symptomatic

Hi guys,

I read a lot of homeopathy and I need sone claryfing.

To heal a person which is better option...find its constitution or give remedies guided by its symtomps?

I mean how can you heal leta say a rheumatic case if that person constitutional remedy doesnt cover rheumatic troubles?

This question is what troubles me that much.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
the remedy that covers the mental and the general symptoms of a patient will cure even if the particulars do not match. it is because provings were not continued beyond a certain point.
you can read up " how to use a repertory" by KENT in his " Repertory of the Homeopathic Materia Medica ".
you can also go through " Lectures on Homeopathic Philosophy" by KENT.

So you mean a constitutional remedy can heal my gastric ulcer? No need to use remedy like Graphites?

the remedy that matches your mental and general symptoms will cure your gastric ulcer. you will not need any other remedy.

That is not exactly true.

Dr. Andre Saine, head of Canada homeopaths, and known worldwide
for curing extremely hard cases and cases thought to be incurable
by allopaths and homeopaths uses this example:

He had a patient who was on their constitutional remedy and
was doing better and then caught pneumonia. The pneumonia was
getting worse, not better and she was coming to see him to get
another remedy for it or go into the hospital. On the street near his
office, she slipped and fell, hurting her leg badly. So he says,
she needs two remedies now, one for the leg which has to be treated
first asap, and then the specific for the pneumonia.

You can google Dr. Luc his lectures and pages about when you
have to change remedies according to the conditions of the patient.
