Stinging nettle tea safe with pulmonary embolism?

Hello,
I am new to this forum, but excited to learn more :)
My husband had pulmonary embolisms around two years ago and was in the hospital. They put him on the (probably horrible) blood thinner Xeralto (sp?) and after a short while he decided to stop taking it. He takes baby aspirin as a blood thinner sometimes (especially before/after car or plane rides). He is only 35, but his job has required him to sit at a desk for more than the last decade. I was reading about the benefits of stinging nettle tea and he wants to drink it. I was a little concerned when I read that it stops bleeding. Should he avoid it, or am I being paranoid?
