6 week old baby sick for 2.5 weeks cough/congestion/warm

Born 8/7/15, he caught a virus from his older brother (4 years old) on 9/8
He has had his nose swabbed at dr and it is "just a virus" and it will "run its course" said the dr. He always seems so warm, but doesn't really
have a fever, he has clear and white mucus that I suction from nose, I can hear a rattling and wet sound when he breathes. He has a wet productive cough, and he is very strong, and does a good job coughing if he needs to, but it is just lingering on and on. He is exclusively breastfed. I am not eating any dairy as that seemed to be aggravating him. This has gone on too long, and he's so young, please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please give him Pulsatilla 30 twice a day for 3 days and see how that affects.

Hi, i have been giving him pulsatilla 30c every morning/night for 2 days, no improvement. He is stuffy, snugly, hot, sticky, slimy, choky coughs. He is pretty happy, but wakes up stuffy and warm. Also gassy. lol he is a fat little squishy smiley baby and I wish he felt better. Thanks.

Please give him calcarea carb 30 in the same way. If that too doesn't help, Nux Vomica 30.
